What I can say about this hospital! I've been coming here for my cancer treatment for almost a year and everything is great! I don't say it's perfect because nothing and nobody is perfect in this world! Thank you for the good management!

Dr. Reza, Cheyenne, MA, Na'Tosha, PA, & Justin Bell, Operations, all made me feel so welcomed and greeted me with joy and kindness. Cheyenne is so sweet and does a marvelous job in helping make appointments, taking my concerns seriously, and preparing me for the physician. Dr. Reza is incredible. I've never met a doctor like him. He is so kind, very caring, gives great hugs, and jumped right on my health problems and issues. This guy listens carefully and goes into action immediately to help his patients. I completely trust Dr. Reza and his staff with my healthcare and they really care a lot! They're now my new family. I highly recommend you make an appointment to see these people immediately!

This was the best hospital we’ve ever been to! I was accompanying a family member who was having surgery done here, and everything went so smoothly. The facility is beautiful and well kept. I watched a worker pick up trash seconds after someone dropped it. You could tell staff there was proud of where they worked and took ownership of it. There wasn’t a single unfriendly staff member. Everyone greeted us with a smile, and we joked that it was the “Disney of hospitals.” Communication was very clear and thorough. We got text updates throughout the day, as we waited. The seating area was accommodating with various areas and furniture types and outlets and Wi-Fi… They even brought in a therapy dog for families to pet while they waited. Also, they have a Starbucks inside the hospital and the service there is just as excellent! After surgery was done, we had everything we needed for at home care and they wheeled her down to the front to get in the car to go home. From beginning to end, everything ran like a well-oiled machine. If I (or another family member) ever needs surgery again, we are coming here!

We had amazing service there but we want to especially point the work of one of the staff members, who went way above and beyond her duties to help us out and support us. Hannah Coverstone was exceptional and Mayo is lucky to have her. If my business was not sold, I would hire her away from Mayo. Hannah, please keep up the great work supporting folks, you are amazing!!

This review is regarding care received in the ER, I can’t speak to the facility beyond this. While I can’t say I’ve ever been happy to be in an emergency room, I was definitely happy we were near Jacksonville Mayo Clinic when I needed one! An unexpected medical emergency during our travels meant, rather than waiting until we were home, I needed care right away and the care I received was fantastic. Despite its size the facility is easy to navigate, inside and out, and once inside they have such a streamlined process that I was through reception, admissions, triage, and in a room faster than I’ve ever even had my information taken at hospitals back home. Once in the room there’s a screen displaying any labs/tests ordered, where in the process those are, who is seeing you, and basically any important information you could need. It removed any of the “I wonder” guesswork which is invaluable when you’re already feeling anxious and unwell. Even the bathroom for providing a sample was set up with extra toiletries and comfort in mind. Everyone was so friendly, not only to my husband and I but each other as well. They worked great as a team which I’m sure is part of why things run so smoothly. A few people who had already finished their part of my care would stop by when they passed my door to ask how it was going or offer me blankets, it was really just above and beyond. My doctor explained everything very clearly and eased my concerns without invalidating them. They gave me instructions for what was next and once home I set up my patient portal. Even that had me impressed with how clear and concise it all was. The whole experience was outstandingly positive and left me with the realization that hospitals where I live desperately need improving and updating. While I hope to never end up there again, it was hands down the best experience in any medical facility I have ever had and I cannot recommend them enough!

I don’t have the words to express how grateful my family is to Dr. McLeod. My 17 year old son had a difficult case of SVT and needed a 2nd surgery/ablation. I’m so very thankful for Dr. McLeod, his team of doctors as well as Mayo Clinic for the attention to every detail that was needed for my son. My son’s surgery took 8 hours to preform and from the very minute I met this incredible man, I knew he would give it everything he had to make this surgery a successful one. From my son’s surgery to his recovery stage has just been outstanding. Mayo Clinic and their team of doctors and nurses were top notch all the way!
