I have had the pleasure of being in the care of Dr. Nizam for 4+ years. He has been very meticulous in his treatment and care over the years. His knowledge has brought hope and healing to my life. My first meeting with him he spent a long time reviewing my file, labs, imaging, and asking questions. Not a lot of small talk. But I found him to be very thorough and professional. He quickly gained my trust as an expert by how he was able to quickly assess my situation, consider my short and long-term goals, and prioritize my immediate health. He didn’t let me ask too many unnecessary questions or start to worry about all of the ‘what if’ scenarios. Instead he was able to focus my attention on the immediate health priorities and surgery and gave me comfort that the post-op tests will determine the next steps after that. My wife was with me in my first appointment with him and she mentioned that he may not be the right personality fit for her. For me, he was direct, thorough, and refreshingly expert in his approach.
