Optimus Health Care

This place is actually awesome. I don't know why that rating on google is so low. I get care upstairs and downstairs and i've had blood work done here a number of times as well. I've been a patient for years.

Idk whats with all the horrible reviews here ,but hopefully they're not for the Dental Office where everyone was really awesome. Dr. Isaacson was really kind and funny (it's nice to see a fellow space geek who finds the intersecting of Venus and Jupiter interesting, I mean it only happens every 800 years or so). Also made sure all my mouth worries were taken fully care of. Highly recommend

FAT SHAMING DOCTORReceptionist was extremely professional and so were the rest of the supporting staff. The problem was the doctor, Ashley Rountree who fat shamed me even though I’m not overweight! I was literally wearing size 4 jeans at my appointment. She told me I was getting close to having a higher BMI and then told me how often I should exercise. All this without ever asking me about my diet or how often I exercise. When I tried to tell her that I do exercise as often as possible, especially since I don’t own a car and then tried reminding her that exercise with chronic Lyme is often difficult or impossible, she interrupted me and told me to, “stop being so defensive.”I won’t go back there again because my mental health is too important to me.

The pharmacy and I have been trying to renew a scrip since 5/29 ! NO ONE responds to Fax or Phone attempts to communicate !

3 weeks ago (Sept. 23) I called them to schedule an appointment with a therapist. They told me they'd call me back within 3 days to register me and get the process rolling. A week later (Sept. 30), when I hadn't heard anything, I called back to see how the process was going and apparently their person responsible was out of office, so they told me to expect a call at the beginning of the following week. So, I call again on that Tuesday (Oct. 5) pretty overwhelmed because I'd really like to start seeing someone, and the receptionist said it'll probably be at the beginning of the next week that I get a call. Well, that's come and gone. I'll update this review if I ever get a call from them, but I feel others should know this might happen.I'm giving this a 2 because the receptionists were kind enough.

My only complain is with whoever Jennifer is. Jennifer needs a customer service course if you want to keep her working there. She is VERY rude and has a horrible attitude.

My experience here is awful every time. They have the worst customer service. Everyone working here just wants to make the patient's life harder than it needs to be.
