Osler Guzon

Love this Doctor he is the best, he takes the time to explain what is going on with my heart. He is genital with his pts, and dose not jump into complex procedures or throw pills at you just to get rid of you. He always has my best interest at heart and for that I am thankful. Thank you Dr Guzon for saving my life. I am truly blessed to have you in my life.

I adore Dr Guzon. He has helped me so much and is always friendly. He has also helped my son. I strongly recommend him. He will keep you well informed and help in ways you just would not expect. Wonderful bedside manner and speaks to you like a person. He also makes sure you fully understand what is being said in English terms not medical. We just love him and his staff

Wonderful bed side manner. Very friendly and knows his medicine well. He saved my son and now is helping me with my issues. He really listens to me and explained things I can understand. He takes time with you. I absolutely love Dr Guzon and will not see anyone else for my heart health. He also gave me many wonderful tips on controlling my lung issues as well. The whole staff are wonderful. If you have to wait for an appointment know he may be in a procedure or has chosen to go the extra mile with another patient and making sure they understand what is being said. Most days here is no wait. I don't ever mind waiting on a Dr whom is this wonderful with his patients. Means he cares.

I am so thankful to have met Doctor Guzon. I am a hard patient and I was really looking for a caring, supportive doctor that I could talk to and he would explain my symptoms and condition and I could really understand him. Doctor Guzon is all that and so much more.

Impeccable expertise in his field!!! Takes plenty of time with the patient and explains what is wrong and options... on top of that he has a wonderful bedside manner which is lost in today’s medical world ! A+ doctor!

I believe that Dr. Osler J. Guzon saved my life. When the cardiologists at Mercy South Hospital (St. Anthony’s) refused to help me, Dr. Guzon came to my rescue. He was supportive and caring and provided excellent patient care. If you read my story below, you will see why I highly recommend Dr. Guzon.I have a history of heart disease having previously had five bypass grafts and two stents placed in the past. In January 2019, I had an additional stent placed at Mercy South and three days later had a heart attack and ended up back in the Emergency Room at Mercy South. After 11 hours in the ER and an overnight stay, the cardiologists at Mercy South told me they couldn’t do any more to help me. All they offered was an increase in the prescription drugs that were already making me feel like a zombie. They gave up on me!My family asked that I be transferred to Missouri Baptist Hospital. After being transferred, I asked Dr. Guzon, who had been highly recommended, to evaluate my situation. Dr. Guzon said he thought there were three additional opportunities to place stents in my blocked arteries. While at Missouri Baptist Hospital, Dr. Guzon’s partner, Dr. Andre Bouhasin, confirmed that the stent that was put in was open and then he proceeded to fix an artery deemed 100 percent blocked and a bypass that was felt to be a futile target. I feel like a new man, and am back to normal activities.The cardiologists at Mercy South said there were no alternatives, but Dr. Guzon stepped up with a proactive plan. He formulated that plan to get me the help I needed. Dr. Guzon is smart and talented, but he can explain medical issues in a way that the non-medical professional can understand. He is attentive and compassionate and treated me like a family member. I strongly recommend Dr. Guzon if you are in need of a cardiologist.

It is rare that a physician takes the time to listen to your concerns and values so that he can manage you appropriately. Dr. Guzon is refreshingly old fashion that way. His office staff also did a great deal to be helpful before, during, and after the appointment.

Don’t bother. This Doctor has no respect for your time. Appointment was made well in advance and still waited two hours (seriously two hours) to be seen. Never again for me.
