Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Long Island Surgical Oncology Associates

In a cancer center, the receptionists don't greet you or say goodbye. They just stare and talk amongst themselves. The men's bathrooms sink didn't work for water or soap. In a cancer center!! However Lillian Ackerman, SLP was very sweet, the first provider ever to have read my lengthy chart beforehand. She took her time with me, explained everything, was very patient. Five stars for her, not for the practice as a whole.

This hospital condones violence/and hateful rhetoric. I would never send my family here

They should have performed a full body scan for my mother when she got cancer the second time. They didn’t, and then 1 year later she passed away.
