PETER EDWARD LOEB

I have been a pt of his for several years and several surgeries later. I have done well with all. Not many care for his bed side manner but I love it. He is to the point and tells you like it is. If you like to take pain killers, do not go to him. He gives you enough to get through the rough patch after surgery and that is it. I hate them personally. I trust him more than any other ortho Dr. I have ever seen and have worked with several and have been through a hip replacement and knee replacement by another orthopedic dr. Glad I found him and have him as my Dr now.

I went to many doctors and they told him there was nothing wrong with my knees my physician said to go to Doctor Loeb because he had his ankle replaced by them he said Dr. Loeb would do a wonderful job and boy was he true. They came they greeted me with open arms did X-rays and Dr. Lobe immediately said my knees are damaged and I need a need two total knee replacements. That day they scheduled me for a total knee replacement on my right knee. Doctor Loeb and the whole staff was wonderful my recovery has been great on my range of motion is wonderful. I'm actually being able to walk for the first time in more than 10 years. Dr.Loeb gets to do my other knee later on this year or the beginning of next year. I am excited for them to do it. You need to check with Dr. Loeb and his staff they are wonderful and will tell you the truth and take excellent care of you.

I rate this physician and his office a 10 out of 5! They are friendly, efficient, and professional and the care you receive is excellent. My questions were answered, everything for my surgery and recovery was arranged. They did everything promised without having to be reminded and best of all when you call their office, a real person answers. I would recommend Dr. Loeb and his staff to anyone!

Three years ago, I had an ACL replacement surgery nightmare that occurred after being treated by a different doctor. A year after that first ACL replacement, I was experiencing a lot of pain in my knee, and something wasn’t right. When the pain management clinic saw the results of the MRI, they referred me to Dr. Loeb. As soon as he saw the MRI and x Rays results, he found that my body rejected the ACL replacement surgery. Immediately, he took over my case and after some tests to confirm his diagnosis, he performed a surgery to remove the previous ACL replacement to avoid further complications with my knee. After carefully looking at my options due to the previous surgery and the rejection, he recommended we used a different method and used my own tissue for the replacement to avoid any possible rejection this time around. Everything happened exactly as expected and surgery went well resulting in a complete recovery and no residual pain. I would highly recommend him and his team.

The best orthopedic doctor I have ever seen. (And after surgeries in the double figures I have seen a large amount.) I had a (what I now know was likely unrequired) total knee replacement at TOC just over a year ago to address long standing pain in the inside of my knee. After the knee replacement I remained in extreme pain in exactly the same area, and TOC eventually washed their hands of the situation leaving me worse off than when I started. I got a referral to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, and after initially raising my hopes, they too advised me that there was nothing they could do to help apart from some type of pain management program. I KNEW there was something wrong that neither pain pills or injections had been able to relieve before, and was upset that this was the only option I was being offered. A friend recommended Dr Loeb, and when I called, I got a very quick appointment. At the appointment he listened to everything I had to say (despite it being a long story), took some x-rays, and examined me carefully. He agreed to perform a scope in the area where I had my issues - even hearing that was relieving because for the first time in two years it felt like I was actually being LISTENED to... and that goes a long way. I had my surgery two weeks ago, and I knew as soon as I woke up in the recovery room that my knee felt different and that the pain had eased considerably. I was worried that it was just pain medication or post surgery-anesthesia and that the pain would return... but I'm a couple of weeks out, and my knee feels the best it's felt in a couple of years. I'm truly thankful that Dr Loeb and his team were able to not only take care of my pain, but also to show the patience and empathy on my initial visit that other providers were missing. I know where I need to go from now on if any of these other creaking joint start to act up.

This was my first trip there and everyone was extremely nice and understanding. Dr. Leob was very helpful in making me understand what was going on with my problem and my options.

My husband saw Dr. Loeb today for a consultation regarding his hand. Thank God it was not something that required surgery, but if it did he is the best!! 🙂 I am posting this because he was my surgeon in the past and would be again if surgery was necessary.

I have a high anxiety level. Dr. Loeb and his team made this so very easy, and so my recovery is progressing very well. I highly recommend this surgeon, his entire team. Thank you again!!! I have in March had my second knee replaced. Again with high anxiety, this has been made easier by this surgeon. You are sent home with a pain pump that lasts 5 days. It takes most of the pain away to begin with. I am fully walking at 5 weeks post second surgery. Cannot say enough praises for this talented surgeon and his fantastic staff!!!! Woukd highlybtecommend to anyone looking for knee replacement.

Dr. Loeb did a reverse shoulder replacement on my right shoulder. He informed me of the risks and what to expect. I came through with flying colors and had no complications. Everything he told me would happen during my recovery did. He is very knowledgeable and really has a great staff.

This is the A-Team folks. Dr. Loeb and his entire staff are First Class. Got and appointment quicky, checked in with the front desk and hardly had time to sit down before they called me in. I found Dr, Loeb to be quite affable with a calm unshakable demeanor which gave me an immediate sense of confidence. Any negative comments about him or any member of his team are both perplexing and unfounded. As a former Combat Medic in the 82nd Airborne Division, I've seen the good, bad and ugly when it comes to physicians, and I do not easily turn myself over to them. Some have the gift, some do not. Dr Loeb has it. Backed up by his PA Mark and the rest of his surgical team, they are simply unbeatable. He has replaced my right hip and I'm recovering nicely. I can hardly wait to get the other one done and get my life back. Like his X-ray Tech James said on my first visit, "You've come to the right place.
