He has been my family Doctor for at least 35 years. His knowledge is far beyond his specialty and we have consulted with him and he has provided us with the correct compass. Above all he is compassionate

Highly Recommended he knows his stuff and has very nice communication skills and I did have to call him one evening and he actually called me back at 9:30 at night which is unusual to find offices are going to call you back late

I was admitted to the hospital this past Tuesday night with severe pain in my throat and chest. I was being treated as a cardiac patient but also problems with my esophagus. Dr. Heit came into my hospital room very early the next morning, introduces himself, sat down and immediately asked me what were my symptoms, how I was feeling at the time and I explained my present and past symptoms. He told me that a cardiologist was coming in but with my symptoms he believed it was gastro problems which I do have. But would wait for the cardiologist. I was scheduled for next week for an endoscopy and he explained he would do the endoscopy while I was in the hospital and would get all my records and research and not to worry he would take care of everything. He was extremely caring, and I felt very confident with him. He was very congenial with me and put me at ease the day of my procedure and did change my meds which were not helping me. I will be following up with him next week to schedule a colonoscopy which is needed. I have only good things to say about Dr. Heit who put me at ease after my procedure.

Dr Heit is a caring, amazingly talented doctor, He has been keeping me healthy in spite of my chronic disease for nearly 20 years, I hope he will be practicing for another 20 or more years because I literally couldn't survive without his expertise and care.
