I had Dr. Patel remove a small basal cell carcinoma using Moh's surgery from the upper part of my nose in November 2016. Dr. Patel is an excellent surgeon and a really nice guy. His office and facilities are practically brand new, and his staff is very efficient and good-natured. I think Dr. Patel's office is one of the most high-tech physician's offices I have ever experienced. I've been in a few of the exam/surgical rooms now, and they have all had large digital displays and iPad-type devices mounted in them to help the Dr. explain what is happening with your skin and the procedures he will perform. During my surgery I was watching re-runs of "Frasier" on Netflix! :) --Highly recommend Dr. Patel, I think we are very lucky to have him in the Alabaster area.

True Dermatology is the best in the Birmingham area.. Dr. Patel did a great job on my procedure and it was pain free. I highly recommend this practice.

I went to Dr P at the urging of my regular doctor. We were hoping for a scraping and a diagnosis. Without even examining me, Dr P told me I did not have what I was being treated for even tho I told him I was much better. He did no scraping, and was no help at all. I drove 80 miles to get there. It was a waste of time and money.
