Awesome doctor, he have lot of patience and explains about the issue in details. The way he does the endoscopy is seamless, no pain at all after the procedure. He takes ample amount of time and sees the patients with lot of care. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall great service. Clinic is very well maintained and kept super clean.

When I asked my physician friends for the best GI specialist in town, they almost unanimously told me Dr. Manu. Since then he has treated myself and several family members with kindness and an expertise that comes with years of study and practice. His breadth of knowledge in all aspects of healthcare astound me. I highly recommend his services.

Dr.Manu is a perfect model of what a physician should be. Caring, empathetic, considerate, compassionate, fair, and easy going. In an age, when doctors are hampered by regulations and insurance companies deciding the "best care, the best medications, the best facility" it would be so easy to become harsh, frustrated and to treat your patients as a "Procedure" and not a real live human being. Bakersfield is lucky to have another option than large facilities who do not know you, the patient, or your fears and concerns for procedures that most people are hesitant to do.

Dr. Manu is such a considerate doctor. He takes the time to get to know you and is very meticulous in his diagnosing process. I have been a patient of his for almost 5 years, and I have never been disappointed. I trust him with my life.

Horrible bedside manner. Told me I have anxiety and that why I'm sick and he can do nothing for me even though I have multiple diagnosis from him. I am very polite and just wanted help and got none from this "Specialist".

I waited an hour to be seen by Dr. Manu only to have him spend five minutes with me and tell me that my new stomach issues, and the rheumatoid arthritis and depression/anxiety that I’ve suffered with since I was a (totally “normal” sized) kid are because I’ve been fat for the last few years. I also told him that I’ve lost 12 lbs in the last five weeks intentionally, and he said “you need to lose more.” As though I didn’t know. Offered me an endoscopy as though he was doing me a favor since I’m just fat, but I didn’t schedule it and left to find a new gastroenterologist.
