Dr. Ty is the very best at really caring about me, I always leave his offices thinking gosh, I wish all doctors actually cared about htier patients as much as he does.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ty for 15 years. I travel a great distance to see him because I trust him and his experience with my life. Indeed he has saved my life on two occasions in the operating room, by inserting stents and yet a third time by gentle but persistent encouragement to commit to lasting lifestyle changes that has seemed to stopped the progression of the heart disease. I have lost over 100 lbs, increased my muscle mass with sensible exercise and carefully watch my diet.

He fixes all the mistakes other doctors make in Kitsap County. He saved my life.

I feel that Dr. Ty is a caring competent cardiologist who is great at doing the procedures once they are scheduled but dealing with appointments is extremely stressful. Last time we had to wait 2 hours in a packed waiting room and wait times are routinely over an hour at both locations. For an older patient on oxygen, that is not acceptable. Once he sees you, he goes rapid fire and asks multiple questions and sends you on your way in a few minutes. No time to really ask questions and god help you if you need to ask him something over the phone. If you have a condition that needs immediate care, I think you might try someone else first. I should also mention billing. They always charge first and ask questions later. Any ties go to the doctor so it may take a year to settle up the bill. If your loved one is in the hospital, remember that even if the doctor comes and says hello to you, that's a full office charge. There is no mercy with the billing.

The wait times at his office are horrendous! Every appointment is 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours late. Don’t plan to get in any sooner than 1 hour after your appointment time. He should focus on spreading appointments out more and not seeing so many people at once.

Dr. Ty runs a mechanical patient practice. He ran at least 1.5 hours, but it primary visit so I was amenable to that. He spent, literally, 2 minutes with me, after I waited an adiional 30 minutes in the patient room! Signed me up for three more tests. I asked the front desk how long the first test would take and I was informed it would take a maximum 30 minutes. I showed up early (as I usually do) and waited for two hours. I then left. How can I ever reclaim the morning I waisted trying get a test done ? I want more than that. I know a lot of doctors are just "quickie" doctors, and while I won't judge him as being one of those, I am convince there many doctors that does what he does, just as well, with more consideration for patience's time. I didn't take it personally, but it does seem the office is chaotic at best. I wish all them the best luck, but I don't wait two hours for ANY doctor, especially when I was told it would be 30 minutes, AND it was not even required that I see doc at all. I hope they get it together

2-1/2 years after having seeing Dr. TY, I get a bill in excess of $400 even though they require you to pay in full prior to seeing the doctor for each appointment. Called his office and they claim insurance did not pay something, and that they have been billing me every month for the whole time. I have never received any bills. Now that I no longer have my receipts or even the same insurance company the doctor wants more money. Fine a different doctor, do not use this guy.
