Raymond Arriola

He is a great Dr... He takes time to listen and he goes above and beyond what he has to do . He has been such a great caregiver to me and my family . I could not imagine having to go to any other Dr.

Stay away from Arriola, He completely lacks bed side manor and i left there in tears bc of his crass choice of words. He is unrealistic and wasn't supportive of me as a weight loss surgery patient, told me that my band would be useless to me, instead of saying "this isn't something i really handle but here is a dr who might better help you with your needs" He informed me that what I needed to do was learn self-control and exercise, and he kept accusing me of wanting weight loss pills (when i am very scared of any pill no matter what it does for me and stay clear of most meds unless medically necessary and discontinue all meds ASAP) All i wanted was to find a dr who could help me get my band tightened, THat i had placed years ago when i lived out of state and had to go out of state to a previous dr when i got pregnant so i can make sure to get enough nutrients for my baby and i was hoping he could help me get in to see a dr who specialized in this who would take me on help me tighten my band back down so i can loose my baby weight... Instead he was demeaning to me, and make me feel like i was worthless by the time i left his office. I am a bigger girl and I am in no denial of that, but i was trying to proactive in getting the weight off which is odd for overweight person.. So i wasn't approaching this in denial! But no one deserve to be spoken to in this manner. The job of a doctor is to help you and if it is outside of their area, or if they have lack of knowledge about something, then to refer you out as necessary! Not to mention i was equally disappointed that my appointment was at 9:15AM i was requested to arrive at 9AM for paperwork, i arrived promptly and then didn't get called back to even the nurses station til 11AM and then didn't see him til 11:15AM.. He was def not worth me wasting my morning....
