ETA- This patient passed away a week after this post. TWO WEEKS LATER, a nurse called his widow to "check on him". After hearing of his death, her only response was, "Wow. We didn't know he was that sick." The original post proves otherwise.I would rate you no stars if I could. I have an immediate family member who has been a patient of yours for 25 years. His health has declined in the past few months, and every doctor's visit he and his wife voiced their concerns to you and your staff and were met with a very dismissive response. Yet they trusted you. After giving him many different medications that never worked and caused horrible side effects (which they were never made aware to look for), his health continued to get worse. Thankfully, his wife is proactive enough to call your office this morning and was told the best thing to do was just take him to the local ER. He is now in ICU with pleural effusion and a terrible uti caused from fluid retention but has a WONDERFUL doctor taking care of him. So thanks for nothing, Dr. Fernandez and staff. He might just be some old man to you, but he's a husband, a dad, a Papa, a father-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many. His quality of life matters, too.
