Dr. Celentano performed my right hand carpal tunnel surgery and motor branch release over 10 years ago and my recovery was complete, no residual effects and you couldn’t even see the scar. His bedside manner is excellent, very kind, caring and gentle. And obviously his skill was also excellent! So when I needed the left hand done, I went straight to him. Once again, he was extremely helpful, explained everything fully again, even though I had the surgery before on my other hand and am also a nurse, which I greatly appreciated. His staff was always friendly, courteous and helpful, especially Jennifer! The staff at St. Tammany Hospital in Check-In, Admit, Waiting Room, Pre-Op, Anesthesia, OR, PACU and Post-Op were awesome, friendly, courteous and professional. I would not go elsewhere for care even though there are a few other choices much closer to home! I would highly recommend Dr. Richard Celentano for not only his surgical care, but also for his kind and caring demeanor!

I have had a giant cell tumor removed from my hand and had cubital tunnel release surgery done by Dr. Celentano. He is excellent. His staff are amazing. Out of the 12 or so visits they have been nothing but friendly, helpful, and very informative. I would recommend Dr. Celentano's office to anyone that needs his type of services.

I am a handgun competitor. Without the surgery on both of my hands, my career would have been over. I can't say enough about how well everything went. The surgery was 6 years ago and I have not had so much as one problem. It was as if there never was a problem. Thanks Doc, you did a perfect job!!

Waste of time unless your objective is to give a greedy doctor $150 for nothing. After meeting with the ‘doctor’ he has one of his office employees call you to tell you that he can’t do the surgery because it’s elective surgery and the insurance company won’t grant it. (He didn’t even run it through my insurance.) Then the female employee that called hemmed and hawed....wasting more of my time. I feel lucky not to have him doing my surgery since he obviously knows his many limitations.

I made the mistake of wasting my time and money going to him. He wouldn’t do the necessary surgery because he knew he wasn’t qualified to do it.

I was recommended to this doctor. When made the appointment the girl was sort of rude. She told me I wouldn't see the doctor but some nurse practitioner. when I got there, waited over an hour and when I got back there, the young nurse practitioner was cocky and rude. Got up and got a refund and won't be back
