Dr. Steensen is a great person that brings thing down to my understanding and gave me choices. I had a knee replacement and on my 3rd week of recovery. If I have to get anything else done I would want him to do it.

Great group of people. Liked Dr Steensen so much when he did my right knee a couple years ago that I came back for my left!I will be back to running again very soon thanks to him and the entire staff!

I’ve known Dr Steenson all of my life. He was a classmate of mine all through the school years so I already knew the person before he became my doctor. And I can tell you they don’t come any better. As a person top notch and as an orthopedic surgeon - the best there is. I’ve had pain and arthritis in my knees for years but lived with it because of fear of a knee replacement. Dr Steenson listened to all my concerns time and time again and never pushed me one way or the other but was always kind and patient and gave me all of the information I needed to finally realize this is the route I needed to go. I am 3 weeks out from first knee being replaced and am very happy with the results. I am walking without a cane and I am getting stronger every day. I have almost no scar from the surgery which is just amazing too. He is an expert in his field and an exceptional human being. I’m getting my other knee done in 3 weeks and I’m confident it will be just as successful. Thank you Bob!!

Dr. Steensen is a medical genius…. I had a partial knee replacement surgery & he did an excellent job! I was up and walking without a walker, crutches or anything within 3 days! I highly recommend him and he’s the only Dr. that I would go to…. Very pleased

Dr. Steensen was a Godsend for me. I’ve had arthritis since my mid 20’s and it ultimately turned into severe arthritis into my forty’s. All the way into my early 50’s, I was fine with cortisone shots, until they no longer worked. Dr. Steensen said that it was time for the total knee replacement, so I went under the knife, for my right knee, and I couldn’t have been happier or more pleased. From the time I woke up in the recovery room, all the way up to now(5 months later) my pain level was never over a 4 and I was walking without a cane after 12 days. Two months after my total knee replacement operation, I was doing 10k’s, 15k’s, I did two half marathons and everything in between. Now, that takes me to my other knee, my left. That knee was just as bad, and needed replaced as well. Just 4 1/2 months after my first replacement, I had the other replaced. This replacement is just as good as the first. I am 3 weeks into recovery and doing great. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Steensen

Dr. Steensen was very honest and forthright with me about my options for what could be done. I found surgery to be the best option. Surgery went amazing. And my recovery was very fast. I can only attribute that to Robert Steensen and his team. Plus the care from my family while home.

I had a knee placement in a different state which had failed. My experience with the knee replacement was not good. Dr. Steensen preformed my knee revision. Words can not express show much better the experience with Dr. Steensen was.My questions were answered in a thoughtful way and I never felt rushed. I have a knee revision, which is what you get when a knee replacement fails. My replacement was in a different state and not a good experience. I can tell how much better my experience was with Orthopedic One. I was in much less pain and had getting mobility right away. It keeps getting better every day!

I feel blessed that Dr Steenson performed my total knee replacement surgery. The nurse at the surgery center made me feel relaxed and welcoming. My recovery is going better than I expected.

The folk's at ortho one and Mount Carmel Grove City hospital are the best. Covid-19 care and there precautions were behond great. Everyone was so kind, understanding of my pain and professional. I was born at Mount Carmel west. 64 years ago. Great hospital. Docs, nurse's and crew are always top notch. Orthopedic One has always taken great care of me. Doc. Steenson is a great doc. He works for you and with you. Teaching and listening. That is a great sign of a top notch Doctor. Thank you all for your time and kindnesses.
