From the microsecond Dr. Norton looked and reviewed my x rays and told me what I new I needed I felt like I was in the best hands!! 17 days later i had surgery. The team at Florida Spine Associates before and after surgery were organized, caring, kind, knowledgeable, and outstanding at helping me after surgery!!! Today I am 38 days post-op and I am doing amazing!!! I am overjoyed by this transformation and Dr. Norton has given me a new lease on life now that I have my back back!!! From the bottom of my heart thank you so so much!!!

I had an unfortunate experience with an EMT he gave me compression fractures on vertebrae T3,T4,T5,T6 and T7. I saw Dr Norton in the hospital originally and he said I was an excellent candidate for Kyphoplasty. It took about 28 days from the first surgery to the last which was today. Being an expert after my third surgery I know I'll have a couple days of soreness and it will fade away. Dr Norton was professional and extremely timely when it comes to an appointment. Finally a doctor that understands your time is valuable as well. The only thing that could be better is service around prescriptions, I will also take equal blame since I only gave 48 hours notice. Overall it's a great office, I can walk up right again without a brace or a walker!!! Thanks to everyone at Florida Spine Associates and especially Dr Norton and his crew. After reading the negative reviews they all have one thing in common, waiting. Clearly that issue has been fixed. My consultation was maybe a 10 minute wait. For all 3 surgeries I was brought in the back for surgery within 5 minutes of arriving, For us nervous types the fast movement of check in, get blood pressure, prepped for surgery, fixed and home you go, an absolute God send.

Two years ago, Dr. Norton performed a spinal fusion on my lower back. Recovery was quick and almost painless. I was able to go back to my normal life, pain free, within two weeks. This month, I had a major issue with my upper spine (neck) area and required a double fusion, as I’ve lost sensation and strength in my right arm and suffered excruciating pain due to my nerves being compressed. I went back to Dr. Norton, and he aced it again! I came out of the double fusion operation pain free. Literally! My arm gained strength right away, I gained normal sensation, and no more pain! I was able to walk out on my two feet from the surgical suites, and the next day I was off painkillers. I cannot recommend Dr. Norton enough! He saved my life twice as a young woman, and returned me to my normal busy-self in no time!

I recently had a lumbar fusion surgery with Dr. Robert Norton and Florida Spine Association. I cannot say enough about the experience. From the initial consultation appointment, all the way through the post-op recovery, the staff, and Dr. Norton were professional, caring, and attentive. Excellent surgical results, great bedside manner and amazing team!

Dr. Norton recently did my cervical fusion because I was having so many issues with my arms and other issues resulting from my herniated disk. He did my surgery and within the first few weeks and I immediately had improvements in all the areas that hurt me and disrupted my daily life. Everyone in his office from Nicole and Mike to the office staff are awesome! So happy that I was referred to him. Amazing doctor!

Dr Norton did my husbands 5th back surgery. The first 4 were done my different dr’s and Dr Norton was the most successful. He has great bedside manner
