Dr Roth is a very skilled knowledgeable surgeon. He listened answered my questions and recommended the best course of action for the best outcome. He did everything he could to treat my colon blockage first to try to prevent surgery. Surgery was unavoidable but I avoided an illiostomy bag and a second surgery to reverse it by following his recommended plan of action vs. rushing to surgery. He was willing to do surgery sooner if that is what I wanted but listening to his recommendation was an excellent decision. It was a rough 2 weeks in the hospital but I feel very grateful to have had excellent care and the best possible outcome. He also has an great sense of humor and truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Roth.

Very surprised when I just received a billing from Baycare totaling a balance due from me in amount of $1000.00. Four visits were for a total of $965.00 for “surgery” and coded for surgery which I believe are very miscoded to say the least. I am very sorry to have to bring this to your attention but the copays due for said amount are absolutely unjustified. You are a wonderful doctor and I am very grateful for your help. I am only questioning the coding as improper for the services rendered. Charles L. Snapp

I don’t usually write reviews but I thought I should at least comment. I went in for an emergency appendectomy in Feb 2021 Dr Roth was the surgeon on call. Dr Roth introduced himself explained what procedures he was about to perform he asked questions spoke clear direct and tried to make you understand what he was about to do. I was scared of course. No there was no hand holding or warm fuzziness like some people commented about — he is a professional doctor he did his job he did what he was trained to do...just as I did my job before retiring. I walked into the ER surgery was a success and I WALKED OUT without a problem. That’s the most important you walk out after major surgery Thank you Dr Roth and staff

Dr Roth had an excellent bedside manner and was very relatable. Staff was excellent also. Repaired umbilical hernia. Site healed with no complications.

Dr. Roth took the time with me to be sure I understood procedure. My office followup visit went great once again he took his time and answered any questions. I am very fortunate Dr. Roth was assigned to me as I came in from ER. at Mease. Thank you Dr. Roth

Hands down the best doctor I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I get the worst anxiety with doctors due to past experiences but with him I am totally calm. He explains things to you in simple terms without looking down on you. He makes sure you thoroughly understand what he is doing and why. He always answers every single question you may have. And as an added bonus he makes me smile or laugh every time I visit him. Even though what I had done by him is one of the most torturing experiences I have ever had in my life I would still tell everyone how great he is.

Excellent surgeon. Had to have emergency colon surgery my treatment and his bedside manner were excellent. Highly recommend him.

Dr Roth assisted me with an extremely painful injury to the ankle area of my right leg twice We stuck with it and it has now healed completely.

Met Dr Roth in the ER. Emergency appendectomy. Felt very at ease with him. Would recommend him to anyone.
