Robin Lewallen

I have received amazing care from Dr. Lewallen at Newport Beach Dermatology. She is always very thorough, and is available even during off hours and weekends if any emergencies pop up. I can't ask any more of a doctor than providing great care, not feeling rushed, and a great personality and attitude to go along with it. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Robin Luwallen, MD, Dermatologist, in Newport Beach, CA, for a year. In a panic after having surgery with cardiac medications before and after then my hair started to shed. My cardiologist and some dermatologist really were not concerned or had no suggestions to help stop the shedding. This upset me even more for the neglect to a pretty common consequence after surgery and Cardiac medications which was not know to me. Dr. Luwallen was my savior. She demonstrated to me great EXPERTISE IN hair shedding. She looked at my scalp with a microscope, suggested my iron might be low ( it was very low), got me on iron and RX a compounded solution that daily has helped tremendously. Plus she is kind and a true professional... Lastly, you can’t find a better dermatologist for hair and other skin problems.

Dr. Lewallen has impressed me not only with her medical skills and knowledge but she has excellent "bedside manners". After a couple of visits with her, I feel confident in this recommendation.

I saw Dr. Robin Lewallen for acne treatment and eczema. I have been struggling with both acne and eczema for years, and she was able to help me right away. She gave me some ointment for my eczema flair ups (on my face and foot) right away, and hours later its already feeling better. I am confident that these hot spots in the next few days. I've also been struggling with acne since getting off the pill. Dr. Lewallen took a look at my skin and right away she was able to provide some prescriptions, but she also gave me some great over the counter skin care that will also help control both my acne and sensitive skin. Dr. Lewallen is clearly very experienced and I left feeling confident with plan (and already feeling better) than feeling like I had to struggle with my skin issues by myself. She is also really easy to talk to, very professional. I'll definitely go back to see Dr. Lewallen, and highly recommend seeing her if you need a dermatologist.

The moment I entered the office of Dr Lewallen I was greeted by smiling receptionist Lisa welcoming me to the practice. Alyssa CMA, escorted me to the procedure room where I met Dr Lewallen. She explained the procedures I would need and why During the procedures she was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. The professionalism and warmth I received was wonderful. Highly recommend Dr Lewallen and her staff.

Dr. Lewallen was the best dermatologist I've been to. She was finally able to cure my acne that I've been dealing with for years. Gone through several other doctors before. Thank you doc.

Dr Lewellen is very nice. However, her office staff is miserable. My sons saw her for acne and the trouble I have had with her office staff is legendary. I will move to another dr in hopes of finding a competent staff. Every single time, our prescriptions had issues. There was no follow up with her staff. Insurance was misplaced. I spent more time following up with her staff than seeing her. I hope she can remedy or she will lose all of her clients. I find it fascinating the social media team h
