I've always wanted a breast augmentation since I was in high school. My family's genes are not big breasted women. I did tons of research- looking out of state and pricing for the travel expenses and it didn't make sense to go far out. I came across Dr. Leonard Gray's office in December 2018. I looked at the photos on his website and I KNEW he was the one who will perform my BA. Before I get into how great Dr. Gray is... I have to speak highly of the faces in the office. I called the office and I spoke with Cherisse. She is the most outgoing and supportive nurse I ever came across. I scheduled my consultation in Dec 2019. I did have to wait 45 minutes to almost an hour for Dr. Gray to get there and to some patients- that's too long. But I work in the healthcare field and work with surgeons, so the wait was never my problem. The best doctors involve a wait time because they don't rush their patients and you're not just a dollar sign to them. And Cherisse was very informative and kept me up to date upon his arrival. Communication is key and she set the bar high. Dr. Gray finally came into his clinic and Cherisse brought me into his office when he was ready to discuss my goals. I always loved breast on women and I love women who have confidence in themselves if they are not big breasted. In 2018, I was 110 pounds with a B cup and I thought I never looked womanly. I felt like I had a teenagers body. I told Dr. Gray I want the biggest implants my body could handle without making myself look ridiculous. I wanted my breast to stick out from a side point of view, so we agreed with high profile 560cc implants in both breast under the muscle. We agreed the incision will be under my breast crease, once again due to the size of the implant. My sister had a BA a few years prior and she placed 350cc in her breast and once they settled 1yr post op- she wished she would have went bigger. So I was very anxious that I might regret my implants. Once Dr. Gray and I came to an agreement, we went to to another room to try on some implants with a bra to make sure the size and width is okay with my chest frame. We finally came to an agreement and we were done with the consultation.Last part of the consultation was to meet with a Cherisse on pricing. I knew what I was getting myself into because Dr. Gray's work shows for itself. Thinking in my head while I was leaving, I was thinking they probably think I will never contact or see them again. I waited until my finances were right. I called Dec 2020 ( two years after my consultation!!!!) and the lovely Cherisse answered and you could hear her smile through the phone every time you called. I told her I am ready and would like to schedule my pre op for the BA. She remembered little ole me from 2 years ago lol!! I saw Dr Gray again briefly for a quick run down of health history and what will be needed for the surgery. I scheduled my BA for July 15, 2020. My mom drove me to Dr Gray's office early morning around 5:30am to start the process for the surgery. I wasn't nervous, but I was happy that I waited for the right doctor and never acted upon impulse. I met with the anesthesiologist and he went over my history to make sure he was informed of things he needed to know prior to administering the anesthesia. Everyone made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Finally, it was time to get put under. The only thing I came remember is counting down from 10, 9, 8 and I woke up in a wheelchair watching my mom walk towards me haha!! Healing process: Dr Gray made it very clear for my pain recovery due to my small size and placing large implants under the muscle. I had a lot of swelling and I felt like somebody was sitting on my chest for two weeks. Every day got better and the implants were slowly forming into the pocket. I had to wear a breast band and post op bras for some time. I met with Dr Gray to remove the stitches and he sent me home with silicone gel scarring treatment. Best product I ever used in my life!! I am now writing this on April 7, 2022, because Dr Gray deserves to have this review part of his work. I feel so silly that I waited so long and this is my first review ever on Yelp!! I love my breast and I always get compliments on how lovely they look and feel. They are so soft and still sit perfect. I want to say thank you to Cherisse and Dr Gray for the care they showed me from consultation to post op appointments. I always recommend your office when ladies mentioning they want a breast augmentation. I could of had lopsided breast if I acted on impulse going to another surgeon, but patience is a virtue and I knew he was the one when I met with him two years prior to my surgery. This review should have been written along time ago. Thank you for my twins Dr Gray !!
