Dr Juyia performed a Lumbar Facet Injection on me today. He described everything he was going to do as we went along. He is very caring and I find him and his staff very caring and concerning of their patient and their pain. I have had similar procedures done before., with a different doctor in a different practice and the pain was unbearable. I must say that Dr. Juyia made this procedure almost pain free. I lived in Boston for over 30 years, and worked in a couple of the largest medical facilities in New England. Due to personal reasons (reluctantly so), I relocated to Florida. I never ever had a "back ache problem" during my entire 3 decades in Massachusetts, after arriving in PASCO County Fl., I started to have some irritation in my back, I attributed these pains to "senior old age syndrome". So I did a little research on my ancestry, my Dad passed @ 96 no back pain, my Grand Pa passed @ 96 no back pain. etc., etc. After trying several OTC's the pain would not go away. My prime care physician suggested that I see a spine specialist in Trinity, Florida. I was introduced to Dr. Rushad Juyia, DO. @ FAST MD. This is perhaps the greatest suggestion that Dr.N. Desai my Primary care Doctor had ever made. I am much better now, than ever before due to the fantastic work of this great doctor.
