Perfect Cataract Surgery
All my life I had glasses, then 25 years ago had Lasik surgery that was superbly corrected for monovision. Four years ago I met with Dr. T for floaters that ended up as a retinal tear, which was surgically fixed in one day and hasn't been an issue since.
Recently, Dr. T has kept me under watch for cataract surgery, eventually ending in a scheduled surgery date. Scared? Pretty much. But I did my due diligence and asked questions, which he patiently answered.
I have high astigmatism, and I wanted to keep my monovision, which crept out of focus on both eyes. Dr. T informed me of the ORA process that provides the best surgical tool for matching up each eye to an exact specification. It is a must for Lasik patients.
During surgery of the left eye - the one that would be used for reading - Dr. T said out loud after he inserted the new lens, "I quadruple checked the numbers." He knew, and relieved, my concern.
Today, I have 20/20 vison and can read my phone without glasses.
