Shyam Khanwani

Dr. Khanwani and his staff are the absolute best! He is caring and takes the time to make me and my family feel more comfortable with the whole process. His RN Donna is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Amy, Erica, and the rest of the nurses are AMAZING. When I was hospitalized for an infection Dr. Khanwani was there everyday ensuring that the hospital doctors were doing things correctly. Often overriding their decisions about treatment to ensure I was well taken care of. I am in remission, however not in the total clear. I feel as though his team has given me the best possible care, and I am very happy about my choice in doctor.

Dr. Khanwani is the best doctor I have ever encountered. He is very knowledgable, dedicated and demonstrates kindness and empathy for his patients. I have already and will continue to recommend Dr. Khanwani to friends and family. He listens to his patients and comforts them. I believe he gives superior care.

My visit was for bleeding and for blood clot in my leg. Dr. Khanwani was very professional but still very friendly. He put you at ease and explained your procedures so you could understand what he was doing and why. I am very pleased with Dr. Khanwani and his staf.

Dr. Khanwani and team are fantastic ! I've never felt rushed during my visits. Very thorough, patient, and compassionate.

Dr. Khanwani is very knowledgeable and spends a great deal of time with his patients. I appreciated the one-on-one time he gave me. My previous oncologist did not give me this type of treatment. Dr. Khanwani seems to genuinely care. He will go over past history, current symptoms, and even call another doctor while in the room to get advice. It was refreshing. I was very impressed.

A kindly manner but not very knowledgeable. Long waits and unkind staff.

He didn't listen to my husband's telling him that he had an infection. Had the doctor listened to him and had the infection been treated first, before chemotherapy, my husband might still be with me today.

This review is not concerning the doctor but his office staff. They overbook, plan to wait a very long time after your scheduled appointment before you ever get to see him, or even his assistant. The office is always very crowded, with people just sitting around all afternoon. The previous visit exceeded one hour. I decided to leave at the one hour mark on the last visit. When his ,main waiting room becomes crowded, they move you to a secondary waiting room. From there you go to an examinatioin room and you may be there for over 30 minutes. I'm looking for another doctor.
