Dr Franks has always spent plenty of time in the office. I have had mohs surgury and several areas of concern/pre-cancerous. (He referred me to an another surgeon for the mohs because he was concerned with location.) I am on the every 6 month plan with him because of my history and have never had a problem.

good doc for skin acne& flu etc

Went here for a yearly skin check. Waiting room was very full and I waited for over 45 minutes to be called. Doctor Franks did an okay job looking at my skin, but when I pointed out a few spots I had concerns about he didn’t help me understand what was wrong or recommend a means of treating them. Got the impression he treated me less well because I am not a regular patient. If you don’t want new patients, then don’t accept new patients! Don’t do a halfway job and hope they don’t come back.

One of the worst cases of racism I have ever experienced in a doctors office. Dr. Franks staff was rude, arrogant, and extremely unhelpful. I have severe eczema, and so I did my research and discovered he was one of the best in Central Mass. I get in the office, and I'm immediately met by a rude receptionist. I was quite, calm and collected and couldn't figure out why they were so rude to me. The only thing I could think of is that I am black, and so perhaps they didn't want me in there.Avoid this office at all cost, especially if you are a person of color.

Seems much more interested in patients looking for botox, collagen injections, restylane, etc. If that's all that you're looking for then he's probably the right doctor for you.
