If it wasn’t for Dr Kim quick reaction for my issue I may not be here today. He was the emergency doctor on call when he took care of me. I’m very great full!

I think he is a great surgeon

Dr.Kim is an amazing surgeon he was very helpful, he explains everything to you he can get rude but that's only if your not following what he is mandating you to do in order to have Gastric Bypass. The office is very friendly. If you have any concerns they take messages or send you over to a nurse to speak to them and they either call you back the same day. I also had Gall Bladder removal a month later by Dr.Kim as well and he was very friendly. I ended up with an infected incision and they immediately got me in and cleaned it out and made sure I was getting antibiotics into my system. I even can call my surgeons personal cell phone or email them and they get back to me ASAP. I Love this office they are the best.

At first we weren't sure how we felt about Dr. Kim, but we have really learned to love him. He saved my husband's life. My husband was very ill, and it has been a long road for him. He still sees Dr. Kim and probably will for a long time. He does appear to be stand offish he warms up after a while.

Dr kim Is awesome he has wonderful bed side manners and he shows he cares about his patients and thier well being. Dr kim saved my life and I will always remember that

Dr. Kim performed my RNY in 2008. I like him very much as a Doctor. He doesn't have a very outgoing personality which some people may find results in a poor bedside manner but I don't agree. I do have to wait a LONG time for each appointment (I've never waited less than an hour and I've had more than 6 visits). I do not attribute that to him though. The practice needs at least one more surgeon as well as an additional nurse. I highly recommend him to other Bariatric Patients.

Dr. Kim evaluated me for an unknown lump in the chest wall. His bedside manner was short, sharp, and dismissive. He rushed and seemed annoyed when I asked questions. He informed me I had a rate tumor that would require surgery but said this could be done with a local anesthetic. A quick google search told me that the diagnosis he’d made could only be made with an actual biopsy, which he hadn’t done. I decided to eat a second opinion with an expert in those types of tumors, who informed me that a) I did not have that kind of tumor and b) that survey for it would have been a “major resection” if the chest wall and not the simple procedure Dr. Kim had promised and c) that even if it had been that kind of tumor, the first line of treatment was chemotherapy or radiotherapy, and that surgery was a last resort. This doctor almost did a major unnecessary surgery for a condition I didn’t even have. I will never return.
