This is an outstanding doctor. He could not have been nicer or more efficient. It’s almost worth being sick to have him as my physician!!!

Dr. Dougherty was extremely helpful to our family. He took the time to review our history and notes prior to our visit. He listened to our concerns and responded to our specific questions and needs. He was very knowledgeable on general GI and specifically EoE and GERD. He was also able to explain the differences in assessment and treatment for juveniles vs. adults. We would strongly recommend Dr. Dougherty and especially for anyone with a unique case or situation.

Dr. Dougherty really took the time talk to us, he answered all our questions and successfully calmed us down. He explained the condition and we left his office with huge weight off my shoulders. I really like his calm and patient attitude. His recommendations really show he's a thoughtful and skilled doctor. I'm so happy to found him!!

Easy to make an appointment. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Minimal waiting time. Dr. Dougherty takes the time to get to really know his patients and explains all procedures, diagnoses, and treatments thoroughly. If you need an appointment quickly, you can make an appointment to see the Nurse Practitioner who consults with Dr Dougherty while you are there. I had a procedure done by Dr. Dougherty at Alexandria Hospital, which was wonderful. I highly recommend both him and the practice.

I had a procedure performed by Dr Dougherty. Top notch, very professional, and basically the opposite experience that the previous reviewers had to say. Thumbs up all the way.

If I could give him a zero star I would. The front desk staff was horrible, she was very rude. Dr. Dougherty is a douche bag, don't know s*** doctor. Yep I said it! I wasted my $20 co pay for him to tell me nothing I don't already know. Please avoid Dr. Douche at all time.
