Excellent doctor, compassionate, knowledgeable and wants to get you back on your feet quickly and safely . Appointments are easy to get and staff are great!

This is for the VA patients who are approved to see a podiatrist outside the VA and is more of a comment regarding his office staff than of Dr. Distefano himself. Dr. Distefano is a great doctor but his staff was not able to tell me if the VA will cover PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections or not. Given that this treatment has proven to be very effective for a number of podiatric conditions and that he is a VA approved podiatrist, this is ridiculous. They should know how to navigate the VA system and not just give up after a couple of phone calls.
