So, I had severe stomach pains after I ate and Dr. Anna quickly got me a Ct, blood work and a breath test. I was later positive for h-pylori which I was treated for and I am happy to say I’m still doing well. I am so grateful for Dr. Anna. I do feel they need more staff to answer phones in office. My experience was great otherwise!!!

I've had 3 experiences with this office. It has been as wonderful as it can be becoming a human kaleidoscope. Would highly recommend them to you or anyone that wants someone to have a peek!

This is a great place if you can wait weeks on end for care. First, the good: I have had one office visit and one procedure through Alamance GI, and both times the doctor was very caring and knowledgeable. I have zero complaints in that regard. However, it doesn't matter how good the doctors are if you can't get in to see them when you need to. I have been experiencing severe stomach pain on and off - this past Saturday night it got so bad I couldn't even stand. Fortunately, it eased and I've just been sore since (but obviously fearing I could experience another painful attack at any time). I called today to make an appointment, citing severe stomach pain, and was told the soonest appointment for the Dr I had previously seen was 6 weeks away. I stated that I simply couldn't wait that long and asked if there was any way I could see another provider here. I was told that "they won't let you just flip flop doctors like that." Um, I'm not trying to "flip flop doctors," I'm trying to not wait in pain for 6 weeks while my condition worsens. I was then told that if I couldn't wait that long, to just go to the ER. With my insurance an ER copay is a huge expense that I cannot afford unless there is truly no other choice. Is there really no option here for established patients to see a provider sooner than 6 weeks when they're experiencing an urgent issue? Apparently not.

Beyond frustrating! Dr Anna is fine, he's friendly and did my colonoscopy, to which I had no issues. But dealing with the office is one of the most frustrating experiences ever. They never answer the phone and you're forced to leave messages. Sometimes they call you back sometimes they don't. I needed to schedule a follow-up after my procedure so I could speak to the doctor about what the results were and what the plan is going forward and was told in June that the doctor was scheduled all the way out into November. I understand he's busy, but that's incredibly frustrating when you really need to see a specialist for your painful, chronic symptoms. I actually tried to transfer to a different specialist and was denied. There is something seriously wrong with this entire situation.

They will not return phone calls. I will never go here again

It's a no wonder this office has a low rating. I only tried to make an appointment but had such a hard time with lady who answered the phone, who was rude and arrogant, that I never made it the appointment (and won't ever make an appointment after that). If I ever spoke to my customers like she does, I would be fired.

Making the appointment and check in was a breeze but when I went back the doctor that was assigned to me was very dismissive and was not listening to my concerns nor was he going on about what My referral was even about he diagnosed me with the problem I previously had and fixed with Alamance Ear Nose and Throat I honestly wouldn’t recommend them maybe the mebane office would’ve been best not to mention the meds he prescribed me I looked up as i do with all but with that one the first thing I see besides the description is articles on recalls from last year with bad side effects

My husband called and left this office a message yesterday about setting up an appointment. He never received a call back..called again today and they couldn't even transfer his call to the scheduling nurse. Gave him a phone number and said to call himself. Absolutely no explanation as to why they never returned his call
