Dr Donkoh is the best. He has an amazing bedside manner and is an excellent doctor. I’ve been dealing with back pain from herniated discs for the past year. Dr. Donkoh finally got me the relief I’ve been looking for.

I had sudden pain down my leg and in my back. I saw Dr. Donkoh at the Christ Hospital Out Patient building. I ended up having a herniated disc in my spine and Dr. Donkoh did an injection to help ease the nerve. He was very kind and gentle and the injection helped so much! I Will recommend the Christ Pain Clinic and Dr. Donkoh to anyone who suffers from pain.

Dr Donkoh and staff were very proffesional, patient and pleasant. The doctor, nurses and Xray staff explained the procedure thouroghly and answered all my questions. Dr. Donkoh customizes the time he spends with each patient depending on their diagnosis and pain level. Ruta and Mary both talked to me, pampered me and calmed my fears being this was my first steriod injection. I highly reccommend Dr Donkoh and his staff!!!!!!!

3 steroid epidural shots waste of time for me and very painful very disappointed still in pain 😡😡

Doc was okay, although I agree that he and the staff pushed for a 2nd round of cortisone shots before the first ones had even registered. My complaint is with the pain center itself. There is no way -- no way you can talk to a live person. All calls are immediately directed to voicemail. So if you need to confirm an appointment or ask a question, you're out of luck. No wonder Advocate Christ overall stars has dropped from 4.0 to something like 3.3.

Dr. Donkoh was inept at injections even with using an ultrasound. The needle hit bone over and over again. I should have done more research on both the doctor and accepted protocol for this procedure.

If you are going to Dr. Donkoh to improve your quality of life, you might as well find someone else. He prefers to push shots, surgery and implants instead of listening to the patient. The nurses are extremely rude, they don't listen and act as though they are doing you a favor when they return a phone call 48 hours later. Never going back.
