In 2020, dentistry has devolved from something unpleasant to something borderline hazardous. Dentists and hygienists face a heightened risk of contracting COVID19, digging around inside Americas snapping jaws. Social distancing is an impossibility. Masks and gloves provide little protection against a childs furious bite. Yet, as our abscesses fester in the December chill, one thing is clearwe need dentistry and the odd, often brave people who practice it.I chose Zen Dental after several years at a practice in Glendale. They performed excellent work at a heart thumping price. Over the past two years, Ive had three crowns, periodontal work, multiple fillings and more, leading me to believe I was being politely fleeced out of thousands of dollars. So it made sense to choose a dentist closer to home.When I first arrived in June for my intake appointment, Dr. Raschkovsky appeared in the examination room behind several layers of protective gear. Although the experience was eerily similar to Contagion, it was on the house! In all my years, Ive never received xrays and a thorough plaque scraping completely gratis. Although I havent returned since, Im convincedby this act of civility alonethat Zen Dental is where my teeth and gums belong.

I love this dentist & staff! I went there today for the first time and it was sort of fun. I have never left the dentist thinking that, let alone leaving having a cavity filled. Best dentist in downtown los angeles for sure. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love Doctor Alessandra and her whole staff. They make me feel very safe and always do an amazing job on my teeth. Doctor Alessandra has filled multiple cavities for me now, given me 4 crowns, and has been with me during 2 of my root canals. I started seeing her after my teeth needed more intense procedures and I am really glad I found her. When she told me I needed a root canal she referred me to a specialist,  who I also love and trust very much. I really hate getting work done on my teeth but Doctor Alessandra makes it painless and makes me feel at ease. She has great bedside manner, she is super talkative and lively during the procedures taking your mind off everything. Doctor Alessandra is also very genuine and cares about all her patients. You can tell she is passionate about her work, patients, and staff. If I ever have a concern she tells me to call her personal cell. I appreciate that so much, tooth pain is not a joke! I love her willingness to make her clients feel comfortable and supported. I also appreciate how much her and her staff always explain what they are doing while they are doing it not knowing what is going into your mouth can be frightening and I think explaining what youre doing is important during procedures where the patient is awake and aware and maybe even not numb. Ive had a lot of shy dentists or dentists who dont explain much and I find that unsettling. And one last thing I love how her staff are all women! I would 5/5 recommend Zen Dental to anyone. Especially if you are afraid of dental work. They do a great job, always follow up, and are very genuine and attentive to your needs!

I was so pleased with the efforts the office has taken for COVID19. I had a manual cleaning to negate the aerosols, and it reminded me of when I was 8. A nice trip down memory lane. The staff here is amazing! Even though I got bad news and have to go back soon, they all exuded empathy and I appreciate that! Ive been going to Zen Dental for over 8 years. As long as Im in LA, Ill be coming Downtown for my teeth. Shes amazing.

Thank you Dr Alessandra Raschkovsky! I had a filling fall out during Pandemic and my regular dentist wasnt available.  I searched online for a top rate dentist in Downtown LA and Zen Dental was at the top of the list.  Giselle and the team treated me so nicely and confirmed my appointment. Dr  Raschkovsky called me to go over my tooth prior to the appointment and walked me through the process. Im so pleased with my experience and the results of the work that she did on my tooth. No pain I feel great no swelling and Dr Raschkovsky checked in the next day to make sure I was ok.  Zen dental was there for me in a crisis and very professional and kind.  I recommend them to any urban professional seeking great care.  I have decided to switch dentists to Zen as a result of this great friendly professional team.
