I booked an appt 5 months ago and had a list of questions considering this was my first ever derm appt. I went in for a body scan to check moles etc. Not sure if it’s due to the acquisition, but this place clearly overbooks their MDs. When the assistant saw me she basically said, any questions not related to the scan are going to need to another appt. OK fine, I get it as I had questions about a rash. The dr finally comes in and she was there for 5 minutes, looked me over, answered one question and only after I repeated it bc while I was laying on my stomach with my naked butt in the air someone came in with a question and everyone of the staff started chatting. Not a one bc I imagine this Dr would have been great if she had ample time to take care of her patients. Definitely felt like cattle at this place…
Saw Dr. Morales for a full body skin check. She has an amazing personality, was funny, and made me feel at ease during the appointment. I would recommend her.
To be honest, I did not have a great experience with this place and I think about it quite often. I paid $750 for the cool sculpting, and the lady who did it for me did not even place the device on the area that I actually wanted to get cool sculpted on. Therefore, I saw zero results and wasted $750… not to mention while her and I were in the room and I was fully naked with barely a patient garment on, a MALE worker walked into the room thinking it was empty. He for sure saw at least some part of my naked body. I didn’t complain about it at the time because I was young and naive I guess and the lady who did my cool sculpting was in the room when he walked in on me and she apologized a lot, but still not okay at all and thinking back on it I definitely should’ve complained about all these factors. Anyways, the girls there are kind and everything, just me personally I didn’t have a great experience and I often feel sad about the $750 I wasted here.
Zero stars! What a waste of time! I went in at 1pm. While I was being checked in, I heard another person checking in for the same time with the same doctor Dr.Morales. I waited 30 mins past my appointment time to be seen. Now the Doctor came in with zero patience, not ready to give thought to my concerns whatsoever. She rushed through options unwillingly like it was a waste of time for her. When I still had questions, she was already walking out the room. This seemed like complete mismanagement on time on their part and the doctor needs to have some level of sympathy and patience towards a patient. To top it, they tried to sell a product that wasn’t even treating the main concern. Very disappointed. Don’t recommend them at all.
About a year and a half ago, I had to cancel a microneedling appointment. I made several attempts to call, but no one answered. I eventually left a voicemail clearly stating that I needed to cancel. To my surprise, a full year later, I received a bill for a no-show fee—something that was never mentioned to me during multiple visits afterward. When I tried to resolve the issue, I encountered the same poor communication: the phone line repeatedly said, “We’re busy and will return your call within 72 hours.” I left voicemails on two different numbers but never received any response.
My appointment today was at 3:30 pm. I was finally brought to a room at 4:10. Dr. Mac-Fung came in at about 4:20. I just needed a 12 month refill of my prescription. We spoke for about 7 minutes. I then left. Dr. Mac-Fung is great. The office has issues with scheduling. I wish I didn’t have to go thru this. But it’s 1 time per year. Co-pay is higher for a 7 minute appointment.
Dermatologist Dr. Mak-Fung is very thorough. I really like her use of technology for watching progressions or issues.

Everything went as planned, the doctor checked the usual trouble spots and then addressed other spots that I identified. I got every issue resolved . Sometimes I have to wait a while but this time I was first of the day, so the waiting was minimal.
