Genesis Care's Online Review Report Card

While I had an excellent experience here with the doctor, my issue is with the billing department. I have called several times to try and get this bill rectified. They keep claiming I have a deductible, which I do not have with my insurance. This bill is now past due, because of several disputes with the billing department. I have called to get this rectified over and over again, yet they still keep sending me this same bill.

My radiation experience was top notch. From patty at the front desk to all the doctors and radiologists. I would and have highly recommended Genesiscare to someone else.

Urology office in Punta Gorda, FL is the worst. Overbooking, very rude office staff, and long long long wait times. Waited 2 hours to be seen and was rudely treated after I asked for a refund of my co-pay. I have been going to that office for the last 3 years and have had enough of the way that office is run. Will be looking for a new urologist. I do not recommend them to anyone. I would definitely start improving the office staff attitude and work to make appointment times shorter. There is no point in making an appointment when they are people's times are not respected.

I had a very good experience with Genesis Care In the beginning 9 wks seemed like an eternity but the sessions went by smoothly and quickly Dr Phillips was very good at explaining the process. I did have continued side effects but he assured me they would subside and they have after 7 days of completion. I would recommend Genesis Care for radiation treatment. Thanks again for the professional care.

Wait times are intolerable. I waited 2 hours to see the Doctor last Thursday and today I have waited more than 1 hour receive a shot. I am sitting in the waiting room with patients who have been here for more than 3 hours.

Florida Urology Specialist - Experience has been horrible so far and I haven’t even had my appointment yet. Tried to reach them 3 times prior to my appointment for them to send a request for medical records and no one called back. When I finally reached someone I was berated for waiting till the last minute. When I arrived for my appointment today at the address THEY provided, the office is dark and locked. I am currently on hold for going on 30 minutes to find out where my appointment actually is. So I currently don't even know if I will be able to have my appointment, which by the way is for Kidney Stones, so extremely painful. Their prerecording says they are experiencing staffing shortages, I would definitely choose another provider until they get these issues under control.

My radiation treatment is finished. I am very grateful for professional and friendly environment of the clinic. All the office staff is great. All my concerns and questions were addressed in a timely manner. I would like to express my special gratitude to the office nurse practitioner. This lady knows her subject so deeply, and is so willing and patient in explaining to patients everything they need to know during and after treatment, that it seems as if she is not just an employee, but a relative and a family member.
