List of Nevada Heart And Vascular's Reviews
Long time customer (over a decade). Disappointed with Burnham office. Unwelcoming front desk clerk who would rather talk to coworker than wait on customer. The way that she needed my name again and appeared lost about whether I had an appointment caused me additional stress on what was already a stressful visit. Wondering if an old-fashioned sign in sheet could help her focus and conjure up some kindness. Hopefully, the visit with the doc will go better than the Unwelcome Approach to guest services.
Wish I had read these reviews before my experience at the Burnham location. they are not In Network for me. I do not have Out of Network coverage. My bill is not finishing posting it's going to be ugly. All the staff had to do was read my insurance card and tell me we are not In Network. They suck. Jill
Medical services were fine. Incompetant outsourced billing department double billed me for a bill that I later recieved from the lab next door. Been trying to clear it up for 9 months. Half the time the person I reach doesnt comprehend English at a conversational level and just reads scripts at me and tries to convince me that I am confused in broken English. Its closing on 20 calls I've made now, some 3 way calls, with my insurance company and the lab billing department. Never should have come here.
NV ❤️ & Vascular did a really good job all the way around. My longest "wait time" was 10 minutes. The care was exceptional and very professional.
Charge me $7200 for a procedure that should've been covered by insurance I specifically ask if the procedure was covered before I went in for it they said yes it was and over a year later I get a bill for $7200 saying the insurance denied it
These people don't care about you, your health, nor your time. Worst patient experience of any healthcare office I've ever attended. Expect to wait 2 hours. Then expect to be talked at condescendingly. Expect them to schedule reading your test results to you 2+ months after the test they ordered. Yesterday, I waited almost 3 hours after an MA vindictively told me that if I chose to reschedule, I couldn't see the doctor I normally see any more. That was total B.S. I've seen my doctor's colleague there before. The receptionist "advised" me to just get my test results from the records department and go over them with my primary. If my primary, who referred me, was a cardiologist I wouldn't have been there! I had another MA talk crazy to me in the past and I think she changed her tune for fear of me reporting her. I'd only come back b/c Dr. Marchand usually has a likable bedside manner. Though he never remembers why I'm there, what he told me, why or what he noted, what tests he's ordered. I've had to correct him multiple times and go over the same things over and over. Yesterday, he started arguing with me over me saying the word "pain", which I've mentioned in all my previous appointments without an issue. Yesterday, it was a problem b/c he can't figure out what's going on with me. He said some terribly insulting and condescending things to me. My relative listened on speakerphone and was shocked! I definitely would never go here again and never alone.
My wife is a heart patient and she has tried for 21 days to call to set an appointment for a test that they can only do here in Las Vegas. She even went down to the office to speak to someone and they wouldn’t come out to speak with her. No care or regard for people or heart patients. We will not be following up with them, and we will not be referring them to our friends and family. .
My doctor (Maholtra) saved or at least extended my life! Today at 2:35 pm I called and used the call back option. Received a call in 22 mins. Never have ever waited longer than an average time of any other doctor appointment. Highly recommend.
To be clear the 4 rating is specifically regarding dr james mock and his office staff at the no. Tenaya location in las vegas. Dr. Mock is wonderful. Dr mock has been my cardiologist for many years and for most of that time, he was in private practice. He only in the past couple of years joined nv. Heart and vascular. My dissatisfaction is regarding the larger NV. Heart and vascular.cotporation and regarding the lack of response when I have tried to contact whoever the nv heart and vascular on call doctor was and never got a call back; this happened 3 different times. When Dr. mock was in private practice by himself and was on call, he always called back or if he was not on call, he had another cardiologist who was as kind and responsive as he was to be on call; that's the kind of caring response I was used to. Also, the billing dept is very swift to send "final notices" for VERY small balances when all past amounts were paid in a timely manner.. In a previous survey/ review my very positive comments were directly about dr mock and his Tenaya office staff; it showed only 2 stars but that was an error because I rate dr mick and his staff a strong 4. The 2 refers to the larger nv heart and vascular corp.
It I'd important to state clearly that my cardiologist, dr james mock is wonderful For years he was in private practice and only in the recent past joined bv heart and vascular. The survey nv heart and vascular does not give an opportunity clarify comments. Dr mocks staff is very nice and

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
