I called inquiring about insurance because different organization do different things and was met with a rude snarky tone and response from the receptionist that was completely uncalled for. She clearly wasn't expecting me to call out her unprofessionalism and then her whole tone and response changed.

I refuse to go to any other optometrist other than Dr. Todd Shuba!!! He truly cares about his patients and he takes the time to explain everything regarding your vision. Missi, Elaine and the young lady that does the initial exams (I apologize that I cannot remember her name) are so nice and sweet. I have been a patient for 15+ years and it's always a great time during my appointments. Thank you, Dr. Shuba for taking such excellent care of my eyes!!!!

I was looking for a eye doctor and to get a new pair or eye glasses and I found Vision Works in downtown Pittsburgh Pa and the overall experience and staff were great from the start to when I left the building.

I had a disappointing experience at this location. I came in because I was having issues with my glasses. The staff measured the lenses and told me they matched my prescription, recommending that I wait until my next eye exam to start over. I decided to return to the place (not VisionWorks) where I had my eyes examined earlier in the year to see if they could help. The optician measured the lens and found they were slightly off from my prescription, enough to cause the issues I'd been experiencing. I then visited a different VisionWorks location, where the optician confirmed the inaccuracies and arranged for the lenses to be remade. I shouldn’t have had to go to a different VisionWorks location just to confirm there was a problem. I wish the staff here had been more thorough and attentive during the initial check, as their dismissal was incredibly invalidating and almost led me to waste the time, effort, and money I'd already invested in the glasses.
