I have to admit, when I first looked at reviews for Barrow's Neurological Institute, I was very concerned with the negative reviews.   Although my experience has been spectacular.  From Dr. Mirzadeh and his team to each nurse who assisted during my surgery, the care and support has been incredible.  Dr. Mirzadeh is an amazing surgeon, I highly recommend him to anybody who needs surgery.  He is warm, professional, and takes his time answering all questions.  Dr Mirzadeh took his time doing a 5 hour surgery to remove a nerve tumor and the side affects have been minimal as a result of his surgical skills.  His team, Barbara and Christina are just as amazing.  They return calls and answer all questions in a timely manner.  When I was at St. Joseph's for my surgery, each nurse was attentive and caring from Michael, the preop nurse, Ruth, Lance in ICU, to Jackie and Christian on the floor.  I could not have asked for a better experience!

The 2 Dr’s that helped me were very helpful, caring and understanding. They successfully have given me 2 sets of nerve block shots and let me have my life back free of pain. I highly recommend Barrows neurological institute.

Dr Santarelli performed surgery on 3-17-2021 for a parotidectomy (parotid gland tumor) at St Joseph Hospital in Phoenix. Dr Santarelli was clear and concise on the procedure to be performed, answered all of our questions. The surgery was a complete success, and recovery went very smooth, with little to no pain. Barrows Neurological is lucky to have such a skilled surgeon on their staff. Would highly recommend.

I Am here for a werk. Leaving today for a rehab facility. The nursrs and other staff are extremely caring and supportive in every aspect of their care! Thankful to all of you!

This is by far the best experience I've ever had. After being misdiagnosed, I finally got diagnosed properly here. I LOVE my neurologist, speech therapist, the staff I've seen. Thank you so much for all of your help in my recovery. I will continue to tell everyone I know to go to barrows.
