Buford Family Practice and Urgent Center

I have been a patient and actually one of the first patients of Dr. Osowa. I love the staff and I especially want to give praise to Dwayne. I am so glad he has chosen to join the practice. In my opinion he is one of the most helpful employee that has ever joined the team. He is always going above and beyond to help you with whatever your needs are and he makes sure that it is done in a timely manner. I hope he stays with the practice for a long time. He is very caring about the patients and a rare find.

I came in without an appointment and was seen immediately. Everyone was so kind and helpful. My doctor was gentle and listened to my concerns without rushing me.

As a staff member who worked for Dr. Osowa both before and since all of these disastrous events, I have seen, first hand, the struggles that he has overcome in the past few months. He is a dedicated, driven, physician who values his patients and staff. Yes, the office was closed very unexpectedly. Yes, it was an extremely difficult time for the patients. Yes, there were huge problems with communication. Yes, Dr. Osowa and his family went through many things that were deeply personal which, unfortunately, were made VERY public. Yes, all of these things are true. What is also true? Despite all of these things, Dr. Osowa is back in the same locations. He is working with his patients and providing an outstanding level of care to them. He has new management, new policies, and procedures, and is working diligently to push through the growing pains of reopening a medical practice. HE IS TRYING. He is trying to move past these events. He is trying to move forward with his life, his career, and his medical practice. He is trying to rebuild. Please remember, before you jump online and bash him or his clinic, he is human. He is not a Superhero or in anyway removed from LIFE. All people go through things, all people have difficulties. Dr. Osowa is a good man, he is a good doctor and he is a good boss. Please, respect that these events have been damaging and we are all working to support his efforts and growth. We are happy to address concerns from our patients, please call and speak with us. We will do everything in our power to ensure the wrongs are made right.

Excellent Customer Service! Melynda was very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Doctor’s offices can sometimes be filled with angst and anxiety and she made this experience exceptionally pleasant. Will absolutely recommend this office to others.

I have been coming to this office since 2008 when it was further down H. Mill near Kroger’s. The ladies here are very professional and helpful. Shout out to Luz. She is my favorite. 😉

superb care!! I've been a patient of Dr.Osowa for Years and when I tell you he is the most kind, caring Dr. you can come in contact with, believe me. He takes the time to listen (Lord I can come in with some mouth) and address your needs promptly. If you're looking for someone who cares and excellent bedside manners, look no further! MELINDA is AWESOME!!! I needed help with some record transfers, and had some hiccups along the way with my new DRs office. Melinda was super kind, helpful, and patient, and went above and beyond to make sure they had what I needed them to. She's fast and efficient, and her customer service is spot on!

My family saw Dr. Osowa 18 years ago, when he first started his practice in the Buford area. As our community grew, his practice did too, and I started noticing his office staff wasn't able to keep up with the pace. In addition to being rude, they were making lots of mistakes, one that actually costed me thousands of dollars. Dr. Osowa was the best Dr. I had ever seen, but I could not continue to go there, due to the incompetency of his staff. We bounced around to other offices, and I never found a Dr. I admired and respected like Dr. Osowa. After many years, we have decided to try his office again. The staff seems much more professional this time. I just got off the phone with Melinda, who is new to his office. She was kind, respectful and very helpful, which are some of the traits Dr. Osowa has. I am hoping this time around, his office staff will be able to match the professionalism of Dr. Osowa!
