He talked in terms I could understand. Didnt just look at my skin and poke me with liquid nitrogen. He examined my skin and explained there was nothing that needed treatment. I had a patch on my back that I could not see and he explained what it was and there was no reason for concern.He asked lots of questions. I did not feel hustled like some of the other dermatologists I have seen.

I recently saw Dr. Raskin for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. I'm surprised by the number of negative reviews, as I found him to be professional and very knowledgeable. He took plenty of time to discuss my problem and to listen. Perhaps this is why some reviewers complained about the wait time. I did not find the wait any longer than that of many other doctors I've seen, and the professional advice I received was well worth any wait. He explained things thoroughly, not only the what, but the why as well. I plan to return to him for any future dermatology needs.

I am a new patient to Dr. Raskin and I am impressed. He is very thorough and listens to any concerns. I needed something checked and they got me in right away. If you are needing a dermatologist this one is top notch!

Doctor Curtis Raskin advised me to do a biopsy for one mole because it looked suspicious and there was a melanoma. He did the surgery and did it great! I"m thankful to this professional doctor!

My grandma was referred to Dr Raskin for a face lesion, which was appropriately assessed and treated. He also noticed a lesion on her leg. Thanks to his astute assessment early melanoma was biopsied. He was kind and respectful, also politely answered our many questions.

So many of the reviews here almost deterred me from going to this doctor. But on the website Nextdoor he was mentioned several times. So I took my chances and found him to be just fine. I found no negativity towards me at all. He was polite, considerate, constructive with his conclusions and very knowledgeable. Most importantly, he listened to and advised me on different avenues to take. I understand the stress level and concerns all patients have regarding health a issue when seeing a doctor. Because it is so personal sometimes we are hyper- vigilant and issues with a doctor are heightened psychologically. Honestly, peoples' attitudes towards doctors have a broad spectrum. This doctor seeing hundreds of patients just got a bunch of reviews that may have been one sided. I can't tell you the number of times there have been great reviews about someone or some product and I'm thinking what were they on when they wrote the review. My primary doctor whom I put on a pedestal has referred numerous patients to Dr. Raskin. She's never failed me yet. So I suggest you suck up some of these poor reviews and see and think for yourself.....I did!
