I am 1700 miles from home & I broke my left arm & dislocated my wrist. Denver medical was absolutely amazing in caring for me. Made me very comfy & my anxiety was relaxed with every single staff who worked on me. Surgery went excellent yesterday & I am in very little pain or none at all. I am highly impressed!!! THANK YOU Denver Medical for taking care of me!!!!

I was admitted to the ICU after being ambulances to the ER with work related injuries on the 1st of October 2020. My injuries were severe and all I remember is waking up on the 10th in the 3rd of 4 hospital rooms. I can say that when I awoke the Physical, Medical, and Rehabilitation team and Trauma team provided excellent communication along side their stellar nurse team to get me up to speed on my injuries and recovery process. I am truly thankful for their service to our community.

This review is for my nurse Amelia who took such amazing care of me by being EXTREMELY kind, caring and patient with me. She was the best Ive ever had, I am a pretty difficult poke. So thank you Amelia for taking the best care of me, you are an angel. I can tell that you love what you do, and you made me feel VERY safe.The PA was really nice as well but I am disappointed in the Psychiatric evaluation...I thought Id be getting some help there and unfortunately it was a short talk that involved the EP cutting it so short and not even willing to hear my whole story, so that made me feel pretty invalidated. I will say this: overall I do feel like Denver Health has a great staff and they take great care of their patients, I just wish that Id gotten more answers/help because I left there feeling lost still. prepare to be there at least 4 hours if youre getting any bloodwork/tests done.

I have had chronic illnesses the majority of my life. Having been treated at numerous hospitals I can say, without reservation, that Denver Health is an AMAZING facility! It’s doctors, nurses, social workers and all other professionals provide truly excellent care and are sincerely dedicated to helping those in need. I feel secure in my care, trust my providers and have never experienced the level of genuine concern for my overall wellbeing at any other hospital! Thank you to all who serve through Denver Health!

My son was admitted to this hospital on Sunday Feb. 9th 2020 & everyone there was great. He was discharged on Wednesday Feb. 12th 2020. He also liked the hospital and said they made a huge difference in his life.

I would like to start by saying thank you for saving me and loving what you do. My review is for the labor and delivery. I gave birth to my son here back in August 2019 and it was the best care I ever received!! From the moment I got in and settled my nurse was helpful and so caring even playing with my 5 year old daughter!! Made my husband super comfortable! Night time came and I got a new nurse, I believe her name was Katherine or something along that line, super short hair and amazing!! She made me and my family so comfortable! She was simply amazing, caring and loving. She did a great job helping me with labor, pushing, etc. I felt like my mother was in the room thats how amazing she was! Gave birth to my beautiful son all good. Now here comes the scary part, I had postpartum hemorrhage and honestly I was thinking the worst and was so scared i was gonna die and not be able to be with my family... It was the worst and most scary thing Ive  ever been through. The moment they rushed me back to labor and delivery I remember just being in the elevator asking the nurses if I was gonna be okay and she responded youre in the #1 hospital for trauma I promise we will take care of you we get to the same room I delivered in and I was asked to get on the smaller bed because they needed to sweep the clots out my uterus. I stood up and the biggest clot came out and the man who did the sweep told me we cant waste anymore time lets get started the girls were each on one side of me and the man did the sweep using the ultrasound machine to make sure they got em all. It was so scary. Then my nurse Susie came omg LOVE HER!!! She was so amazing and the whole time I was  crying an emotional wreck, asking if Id be okay to go home with my family she kept assuring me I will be okay. With my daughter husband and newborn in the room all I did was pray  so hard. Susie was beyond amazing. I learned that she lived about an  hour away and still came to work everyday. She gave me proper medicine, kept measuring my clots and assuu ring me I will be okay. I couldnt have been more at ease with her. Katherine came up to see me that same night she came in before she started work to chat with me and check on me. Lord I believe  was her name took care of me in mom and baby unit. She was amazing and made me feel so great  and at home! She went above and beyond for me!! My son had shoulder dystocia and jaundice he had to stay there you believe the  hospital let me stay in my room until he was discharged? Thank you to your caring, loving, well trained staff for making me feel comfortable, having a  send of assurance and everything they did for me!! Not only did they save my life, they were family as well. Thank you for saving me to allow me to be here with my family. God bless

great Dr. and nurses , seen I needed treatment and admitted me, when Lutheran hospital refused to admit me after s 4 day stay,earlier in the week with substandard care my home care nurse sent me back to ER Lutheran Dr states no reason to admit me, 2 days later after being home in pain my home care nurse came and sent me to Denver health and 2 surgeries later and a 3rd Monday 12/30 and a skin graft soon. Denver health hospital excellent care. Lutheran hospital for me is Russian roulette.

Some of the most caring people at Denver health are the nurses and clerks. And after your appointment, Denver Health offers the best peoplewatching money cant buy. if you are a weird and poor person, DH cant be beat.
