The care given to my parents was far and above what we expected. Every single person with the company was caring, helpful, knowledgeable, and kept us cheerful. Especially would like to thank Ada, Somalia, Chastity, Jason, April, and Kia. We love Ada and so did Dad.

First Light took care of our father in the final weeks of his life. We found the caregivers were truly dedicated to serving their patient, our father, and really mean it. Their services were invaluable at an important time. We chose 24 hour care and we really appreciated the good people they sent and would highly recommend this business for end of life care. Although they are non-medical, they are enormously helpful with the other aspects of home care and the caregivers had a LOT of experience with taking care of elderly patients and were helpful in understanding what was going on in our father. Among the best staff that we would recommend highly were Somalia (the coordinator), Dreama (amazing caregiver), Keisha (same), and Lulu. These ladies were amazing!

First light is the best company I have ever worked for!!! They make sure they train us and make sure we are compliant and capable of taking care of our patients. They make sure they give you a great amount of hours and are definitely one call away. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who is looking for there love ones to be taken care of properly and with love. I'm going to say this, since I have been in the medical field as a caregiver and working for FIRSTLIGHT HOME CARE AGENCY this company has shown me so much appreciation and gratitude as being a caregiver for their clients. Other companies have not or when they do its just a thank you, you go back to working. But not this company they go out of their way to show their appreciation for you showing up and ready to work. I know its hard letting a person into their homes and building a relationship with a stranger. But with my training, confidence, patience along with the training that I received when starting with FIRSTLIGHT HOME CARE has made me a much much better caregiver. I didn’t think I was ready for home care until I finally gave it a try with FirstLight. Jennifer helps me in every way and I no longer rely on friends & family for assistance. They are now relieved of the caregiving role and tasks, and I don’t feel guilty for leaning on them for help. Jennifer has been with me daily since January and she is truly a gem. She takes care of so much, from laundry to taking my dog to daycare to chaperoning my showers to styling my hair to putting meals together for me. And more. With her here, I’m now helped, healthier and more happy. I see now that I should have started with them earlier. Better late than never! Thank you FirstLight.

Just a reminder that Rowena is the best. She knows our schedule, she keeps Tom active and she is a great cook. We (I) could not do as well as we do without her. She is a member of our family. Please let her know how much we appreciate her.

I have been very fortunate to work with the team at FirstLight Home Care. I know from experience that they dependable, responsible and genuinely care about the clients and families they serve. They are quick to respond to our requests and have excellent follow up for any questions.
