Julia Kwan

It's weird that this is a review for Providence Dermatology when she doesn't even work there. She's even listed on their website. Fake reviews? Anyways I had a good experience with Dr. Kwan at CSI. She identified my condition right away and prescribed meds that worked. I watch Pimple Popper sometimes and even she doesn't know everything that comes to her. I feel like if Dr. Kwan had a show she'd upstage Pimple Popper.

I went to Providence before when Dr. Kwan first helped me. She knew what my condition was right away and treated it. I was still with Providence when she left and the other Dermatologists just weren't the same. They looked very busy and rushed at Providence. I eventually changed jobs and got a PPO and could therefore see Dr. Kwan again who identified my new problem and prescribed me the right meds. Way better. What's weird is that she is still listed on Providence's website as their Dermatologist along with her replacements eventhough she doesn't work there. They trying to steal her patients? Sister Mary wouldn't like that.

Listened to all my concerns and knew what my condition was right away. Prescribed the right medications and my condition cleared up right away. I don't know what the fuss is about with the other reviews. I had a great experience. She's my go to pimple popper MD.

I saw Dr Kwan for a distressing and debilitating dermatological condition and she was the first provider in 4 years to acknowledge the validity of my complaints. She took the time to explain her medical opinion, and provided references and answered my questions. Dr Kwan is incredibly knowledgeable, but more importantly, was forthright when we discussed that we don't know everything about human health and that some medical questions cannot be answered with current scientific knowledge. Dr Kwan discussed multiple differential diagnoses and proposed treatment plans for each one and considered my observations and input as a patient like I wished all professionals would. I found her practice through dermatologistoncall.com and she had rendered her opinion and Rx within a few hours. I cannot express enough how humanizing of an experience being her patient was when dozens of previous providers refused to examine my skin.

I went to see Dr. Kwan about some concerns I had about my skin. She was able to take care of everything in one visit. I felt very comfortable and extremely satisfied with the results. I would definitely recommend Dr.Kwan to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

I found Dr. Kwan to be very caring and thorough. I had a couple of suspicious spots removed and sent to the lab. She called me right away to explain what the lab had discovered and what I needed to do about it. She looked me over from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. I am fair skinned and she took her time and worked on any spots that may cause future problems for me. I think she's a top-notch dermatologist and I will refer her to my friends and family. Added bonus: She really cute.

I went to Dr. Kwan for the first time in September, 2016 - and I had hoped to make this an annual. She was thorough, friendly and professional. It honestly was the most comfortable doctor's office visit I've had in a long time. She answered the questions I had completely. In the past year I have recommended her to a number of people. If not for a job and insurance change, I'd be back in a heartbeat.

I don’t recommend this Dr. It was waste of time.

I have seen Dr. Kwan several times and always feel extremely rushed. She recently coerced me into freezing a blemish on my face, which did not need to be removed. There is now a permanent scar. Horrible experience.
