Dr. Zakko is excellent. He is a very straight- forward, no nonsense physician. I'am confident he is why I am still alive. His plan of treatment related to my condition has been a life changer. If I could pass on any advice to others, it would be stick to the plan of treatment he prescribes without deviation. If he recommends a procedure, follow through. Don't fall into the category of being an internet physician. Trust me Dr. Zakko knows best.

Great doctor. Great center. A really good place to have a colonoscopy. Both my wife and I have had ones there. The doctor is very professional and very nice. His explanations are thorough and helpful. However, the person answering his phone at the Escondido office is not the most helpful or empathetic person you will ever talk to. Nevertheless, I will be using Dr. Zakko services in the future.

My experience with Parkway Endoscopy Center was a very positive one. This is a well-managed facility. I liked being able to do most of the pre-admissions process online. I received communications regarding my procedure date and time exactly as I had been told I would. The entire medical and administrative personnel are very friendly, personable, and professional. I believe in getting a regular colonoscopy because it is vital in the fight against colon cancer and other afflictions in your intestines, etc.  Granted, not many people enjoy them or the preparation ahead of time, but between the staff and Dr. Zakko himself, I was very relaxed and felt that I was in wonderful hands.  His demeanor was very pleasant, and he fixed himself on me...giving me his complete attention.  That was huge!  And, his staff was the same way; patient, attentive, and thoroughly pleasant.  I even sent a little gift afterwards thanking them for making a potentially uneasy experience a pretty relaxed one.  Bravo!
