Mubasher Erfan Malik

He is a wonderful doctor. But the nurse are not very helpful. And they wont let you speak with him. Needed My RA meds. Just some until my appointment. I have to go 2 weeks in pain no meds.

Dr. Malik is wonderful!! He is very kind and shows empathy for my concerns and fears. He started me on a treatment regimen that would have the least chance of having side effects to see if it would bring me into remission and it worked. He is very patient and always answers my questions, and believe me, I ask a lot of questions!! The staff is really nice and friendly also.

I have been in treatment for CMCT, with Rheumatoid and Gout being the most predominant for over 10 years at The Arthritis Clinic and Kirkland Cancer Center in Jackson Tn. I traveled an hour and 15 mins just to have who I believed to be the best. The drive has been harder on me lately. The staff at both facilities were wonderful. I had started researching Drs. closer to my home, in Oakland, Tn., always disappointed and remaining with Dr. Aelion. This month a rheumatologist crossed my path, that has turned out to be the most thorough I have ever seen, as a patient. He is such a nice dr., very knowledgeable and professional. He makes you feel important to him, as a patient. On the first visit, he came in checked my joints ( hands on) answered all questions and then he drew all labs. (anything pertaining to my condition) Any testing I needed pertaining to my med levels, he also completed. Boy! Talk about absolutely impressed, I am.( it takes a lot to impress me) I am so thrilled to have Dr. Mubasher Malik as my Rheumatologist. His office staff and nursing staff are just awesome. So friendly and kind. Did I also mention the drive to Baptist Memorial Hospital East is only 35-40 minutes from my door. Thank you Lord for Dr. Malik. One more thing. He is so handsome!!

After getting to know Dr Malik I realized he was somewhat quiet & very focused on his patients. I often had to keep asking questions to understand what the plan was. He is busy so I don’t find that unusual. He his young but knows his specialty very well. I was with him for about 5 years & am only leaving because we are moving to another state.

Dr Malik and his staff were great. They truly care about my condition and right away talked about treatment options. I would highly recommend them.. I hope I never have to find another Rheumatologist..

I would recommend anyone looking for the best in RA care to go to Dr. Malik. He and his staff are kind and caring as well as professional. Each visit the doctor has the patient complete a questionnaire by checking or circling answers to questions regarding for example where they are having pain and the severity of the pain. These answers provide the doctor with an overall view of how you're doing even before he sees you. Then you see the nurse who asks more pertinent questions about any symptoms you might be having that will help the doctor further understand how you're doing from her notes for him. Blood tests are given which will provide additional information. The nurse takes your vital signs and the doctor physically examines any pertinent area e.g. joints. The doctor listens to your heart. He discusses your questions with you and gives you his medical advice. All in all very thorough procedures. Takes about one hour total time.

I highly recommend Doctor Malik! He is the Best Rheumatologist that I’ve been to (& I’ve been to several between Asia, Missouri, and Memphis). He listens well and continues to be thorough in his assessment and treatment of my pain and symptoms.I don’t mind if I have a short wait for my visit, because I know he’s showing the same quality care to other patients!Clean office, (which I haven’t always found in Memphis). Has a wonderful staff and qualified lab technicians!

Really like Dr Malik and his nurse. I was concerned after reading a few reviews but everyone has a bad day. I was in and out of his office in an houre. My first visit I was a little emotional because I own a cleaning business and was concerned if I would be able to continue to work in the future if I did have RA. He and his nurse were very compassionate. He did order all of the right test and scheduled for a follow up. My follow up was also with in an hour. Thank goodness he felt like I didnt have RA per the fsymtoms, exrays and blood work. He rescheduled me for 6 mths as a follow up to make sure nothing has changed. I highly recommend him and my PCP stands behind his reputation that he is the best in Memphis.
