Great hospital really friendly and caring staff

I highly recommend St. Mary's Medical Center!  Yesterday, my mother's doctor, Dr. Giebel, performed eye surgery in the Day Surgery Department at St. Mary's and the whole thing couldn't have gone more smoothly.We were greeted quickly, assisted with the intake and directed to the Day Surgery Department.   Although my mother was hesitant about having eye surgery, the staff put her at ease by fully answering her questions and treating her as a person as much as a patient.  And while some healthcare experiences feel impersonal, this was not the case here at all.Having worked in healthcare for over 15 years, I understand the many things  that go on behind the scenes to make it all happen and I was completely impressed with how detailed, efficient and friendly each person was.  Since I live 4 hours away, I am thrilled to know that such a wonderfully competent and friendly team are available if we need them.

The emergency room was so busy and full but all of the nurses and our Dr. were amazing. I was well taken care of. Everyone was friendly and helpful. All of my questions were taken seriously and answered to my satisfaction. All of my concerns were taken care of. I highly recommend this hospital.

I want everybody to know our wonderful experience with the Covid-19 team at St. MARY PROVIDENCE MEDICAL HOSPITAL . My sister was critically admitted after severe respiratory problems due to coronavirus and stayed there 28 days under their care. In spite of the unknowns of this virus, everyone was helpful and attentive to our concerns. We always felt connected and informed on my sister's treatment development and recovery. Some nurses cried with us and wiped my sister's tears at times. Nurse Eva Saldaña and Yari always explained treatment procedures step by step and were willing to accommodate communication with my sister. The professional judgement of Dr. Ben Leach also contributed to elevate hope and helped with my sister's recovery. Thank you for not giving up on my sister's treatment. To the treatment team who contributed to my sister's recovery, you are appreciated. Thank you.

These ER people are awesome. I'm out of state. I had hard back contact with a firewood log. A week later (I'm stubborn). Major pain in my shoulder. These people at the ER saw me immediately. There was a line of people out the room waiting to get me checked and fixed up. Very impressed.

Since covid the hospital has became alot better

I had a same day surgery. Everyone was great, especially Blanca my nurse.She was very good at relieving any fear I had of the procedure. Every need was met.
