I've had numerous doctors in both NY and LA trying to solve my medical problem for over thirty years. Pulmonologists, allergists, GI's and GP's. Had been taking 5 medications daily. Finally, I met Dr Tachdjian. He suggested something completely different. It worked! I am incredibly grateful. He is a brilliant, caring, out-of-the-box thinker. And his staff always includes capable young assistants heading to medical school to follow in his footsteps. Scott is the latest and he is terrific. I wish Google could add sixth star for this great team.

My family has been seeing Dr. Tachdjian for 10+ years and he’s honestly one of my favorite doctors. My brother sees him for allergies and I see him for my Hereditary Angioedema management. He’s very friendly, knowledgeable, and comforting. He goes above and beyond for his patients, and even takes time to check in on me when he knows I’ve had a bad HAE attack (or if he hasn’t heard from me in a while). He’s contacted my local hospital (when I was out of town, visiting my mom) to educate them on what was going on and help coordinate treatment when I started having a really bad throat swell and even got me in touch with another HAE doctor in the area in case I had another attack while I was there. He always making sure my prescriptions are up to date and that I have enough meds, and when I do need a new RX, he handles it right away. I have nothing but great things to say about him and would definitely recommend him to anyone in SoCal with HAE.

Raffi is great. I know he's an allergist, but he's done two amazing things non-allergy related: 1) he cured my chronic cough, and 2) diagnosed the source of the terrible blisters on my knee following knee surgery. Re: the cough: I'd been having an annoying cough that waxed and waned for years. I was being treated by different doctors for asthma, acid reflux, and allergies, any one of which could be causing the cough. But none of the treatments got rid of it for long. One day I noticed that I didn't cough when I was working out at the gym. Since he's really good at solving puzzles, I thought I'd see if he could figure out my cough. He thought it could have something to do with my parasympathetic nervous system. He put me on gabapentin, and within a couple of months, my cough was gone! To be fair, my ENT, Dr. Amanda Salvado also suggested the gabapentin. I give credit to both of them. As for the blisters on my knee following surgery for a torn meniscus, my surgeon was sure it was an allergic reaction and he sent me to Raffi to figure out what I was allergic to. When the tests came back negative, he listened to my story (apparently, the assistant who interviewed me didn't pass on the most relevant piece of information) and immediately concluded that they were friction burns caused by the rubbing of the bandage (which had slipped down) while doing the exercises the surgeon gave me post-surgery. Anyway, all this is to say that Raffi is great at thinking outside the box and listens to the whole story to figure out a problem. He's also a very fun and funny guy!

During these scary and uncertain times, I'm happy to report that Dr. Tachdjian is doing a great job taking care of his patients. We set up an appointment on TeleHealth and he patiently and knowledgeably answered all of my concerns about how long I could go without an allergy shot and some of my issues with allergies to medications.Since I'm writing a review anyway, I also wanted to say that every time I'm in the office for a shot the staff is professional, courteous, friendly and that the wait times are reasonable.Thanks for such a great patient experience!

I'd suffered from allergy and chronic sinusitis for over 15 years and had tried everything, and I mean everything, but nothing helped. I used traditional, western, and homeopathic medicine. I tried acupuncture and even had surgery, but my headaches only got worse and worse, so bad I dreaded waking up in the morning. I tried Dr. Tachdjian's trigger point injections, and they saved my life! Nothing has helped as much as these injections, and I strongly recommend trying the procedure.

My children and I have been Dr. Tachdjian’s patients for years. He’s an exceptional physician who is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field, as well as a warm and wonderful person who is able to connect with both adults and children. He has successfully treated our allergies with immunotherapy and treated my neck and shoulder knots and headaches with trigger point injections (TPI), which provide immediate pain relief! He has my deepest respect and gratitude for all of the excellent care he’s provided to my family over the years.

I've dealt with allergies since I was a kid--cats, dust, pollen. It was bad. For a long time. In LA, fall used to kill me. And even in other seasons I could pretty much only ever breathe through 1 nostril. I saw an ENT and was told my septum is not deviated enough to warrant surgery. It's just allergic inflammation. I've seen 2 other allergists over the course of time, and received shots with NO EFFECT. Raffi and his crew must have tested me more accurately, because the allergy treatments I've received from them have eliminated 90% of my allergy symptoms. Basically, I just don't think about allergies at all anymore. And I was asymptomatic within 4 months of my first visit. I did a "cluster" protocol - 4 or 5 shots per visit, which vastly speeds up the progress. At this point, I pop in once every 6 weeks for a "maintenance" shot and that's the only thing I ever have to do. Apparently I can stop doing even that, whenever I want, but the longer I go, the more likely I will never have SoCal seasonal allergies again.Best part: my insurance covered about 98% of the cost.

Great doctor. Vicki-the assistant was awesome. After searching for a good allergist with good techniques and advice, I found this location. He was very thorough and looked at my symptoms systemically which was a first with regard to the approach oh previous allergists. I highly recommend him if you are suffering and don't know where to turn.He has a holistic approach and doesn't want to over medicate you, but knows how to use medicine appropriately.

Dr. T has been absolutely amazing with my kiddos. He is super smart, patient, and has amazing bedside manner. Two thumbs up!
