Spear Physical Therapy

Before coming to SPEAR, I was in consistent and severe pain in my neck and shoulders for 7 months. It got so bad that I would often experience many sleepless nights. When I was first recommended to go to physical therapy, I was very hesitant and apprehensive about receiving treatment. However, I could not be more satisfied with my experience at SPEAR. Everyone in the clinic was kind and supportive, which helped me feel a lot more comfortable. I worked with an amazing physical therapist named Aish, who would listen intently, address my concerns, answer all of my questions, and offer solutions to specific instances when I would experience pain. She was incredibly patient and comforting throughout my treatment, and I am very grateful to her. I also often worked with a great technician, Patrick, who was kind, encouraging, and great at demonstrating and cueing exercises. After treatment, I feel better than I have in a long time (thanks to Aish! ). The clinic was also very organized and well-maintained. I would recommend SPEAR at 30 Broad St to anyone who needs treatment and CARE.

Tiffany (and the wonderful tech team) were incredible!! After injuring myself, I didn’t think I’d be able to run the half marathon I’d signed up for. But, Tiffany and her team were able to help me heal and surpassed all my expectations. The team is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They give you plenty of at-home exercises to customize your recovery experience as well. Tiffany went above and beyond and I’d highly recommend the team at Spear.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with both Matt and Tori, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and support they’ve provided. Matt has been instrumental in helping me recover from knee and lower back pain. He brings a thoughtful, methodical approach to every session, always taking the time to explain the “why” behind the treatment and tailoring exercises to fit my needs and progress. Tori, has been a game-changer in addressing my forearm pain. She’s incredibly attentive and precise, quickly identifying the issue and guiding me through a targeted treatment plan that produced real results. Working with Alex Petersen at the 30 Broad St location for pelvic floor therapy changed my life. Alex is such a gem! She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, personable and brought such positive energy to a very medically challenging time in my life. Not only did she treat my pelvic floor but also offered great advice and crafted our sessions to enhance my training for the Brooklyn Half Marathon. She lifted me up and gave me the confidence to talk more openly about my pelvic floor challenges with other women. I cannot recommend this location and Alex enough. Thank you Alex and thank you Spear!!

I have been going to Spear and seeing Shilpi for most of my pregnancy. Shilpi made me feel extremely comfortable from the very beginning. She worked with me to ensure that my body and mind were prepared for labor and post-partum. I would recommend Spear and Shilpi to any FTMs.

The Fidi location is great! Everyone I worked with was helpful, patient, and always smiling.
