I went on Thursday Jan. 27, 2022. The staff was very polite and professional.

I managed to find ONE covid vaccine appointment available on the clusterfuck that is the L.A. county website, and this clinic was that one.  I had some reservations as it was located well out if my NELA location, and all other indications pointed to a continuation of the mess we have to deal with.  BUT....this place was great!  They sent a couple of email reminders pre appointment.   I had a 1:30 appointment and though there was no parking lot, I did find street parking easily enough.  The whole operation was efficient and organized.  There was some wait in line, but that's to be expected.  The system the clinic had in place was great, the lines moved along, there was sufficient staff to monitor the lines ( one for appointments and another for waiting list folks), to check in people, to gather information from the clients, to keep good physical distancing, to answer questions, and to administer the vaccines.  The staff was awesome - pleasant and knowledgeable.  That in and of itself makes an impact on the mood of the clients, so they were mellow and patient.  (The whole county of L.A. could learn a lesson in this area).  Kudos to all the staff!!!

They have the parking lot on the side for the clinic however I was not able to park there spent 20 minutes looking for parking. The receptionist told me to come back after 12:10pm and I come to find out she told me the wrong time. I was late anyway because of the parking situation but I am here for anxiety and depression, might lose my job, and this is only causing so much more stress. Regardless if I was late, she still made the mistake of giving me the wrong time and would have been late anyway. You have one job. Last thing you can do is give the correct appointment time.. :( Changing the review from 2 to 5 stars because even though this happened 15 minutes or so later I was called in for insurance. I didn't have any money to pay for my visit and just started a job and didn't qualify for medical. The young lady with the insurance (there every saturday) is probably the kindest most understanding person I've had the pleasure of meeting. She talked to me and was so compassionate and gave me some of the best advice I've ever had. She gave me hope when its felt like I'm falling apart. And told me she's there if I ever need anyone to talk to. Thank you :')

All this reviews that are negative are FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO EDUCATION YOU CAN HAVE FREE HEALTHCARE AND YOU STILL COMPLAIN AND GIVE BAD REVIEWS TO FREE HEALTHCARE THINK ABOUT IT REALLY AND A TALL LADY THAT WORKS IN THE FRONT DESK SHE'S VERY NICE HELP ME WITH GETTING ME APPOINTMENT SO I'M HAPPY WITH ST JOHN'S IN COMPTON

All you complaining about the service should save a few thousand dollars to go to a non free clinic

Buen Lugar un poco pequeno pero Los doctores y Los empleado son muy Buenos amables y para mi parecer muy professionales y amigables.

This place is a lot much better than my previous doctor. Right here the doctors, PAs, NPs, etc. actually take the time to listen to their patients' concerns and explain what is actually going on and are honest when they need a second opinion from their colleagues for some cases. The MAs from the nursing station are very professional, nice, and friendly. Also the waiting time is decent, even without an appointment (the maximum I waited is an hour and a half whereas at my other doctor I waited 4 to 6 hrs just to see them for 5 mins). I like how they schedule you for follow ups every three months, something that they never did at my previous doctor... Okay after all these wonderful things I just mentioned, why am I not giving this place 5 stars? The front staff! I have not had any problems with them personally but they need to change their faces and attitudes. I have witnessed how they have issues with other patients just for their tone of voice and their facial expressions. They always look like they're having a bad day. It's understandable they can be tired (I work in this field at a front office at the window where I get the pressure of passing charts, answering phones, and assisting patients that walk in. It's a challenge). A simple smile and a nice attitude can make a difference. Other than that, I am very happy about this place.
