Sunrise Detox Toms River

Sunrise was the the only place I had frequent flyer miles, lol. At least it felt that way I been to every NJ location. But on my last stay I left on 3/17/2020 and went to sober living. I was still suffering but I pulled through Now 1 year and 11 months later I’m still clean and very happy with my life today. I battled and I’m finally now winning. We do recover

I've been several places and by far sunrise is the most comfortable and the staff is very helpful. Rory was my counselor and couldn't be more happy with the help I received.

I highly recommend Sunrise Detox in Toms River. The staff is very professional and helped changed my life. I worked very well with my counselor Rory and he helped guide me through my recovery.

Sunrise detox toms river has literally saved my life!!!! I called and they came to my rescue, they were so concerned for me they actually put a nurse next to me till I was stable. I truly thought I was gonna die from my addiction. They nursed me back to health. Nurses and all staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable. The food is amazing. This place is like a 5 star hotel. Please do yourself a favor if you are struggling and call this place. I'm truly grateful.

This place saved my life. I cannot say enough and express enough gratitude that I have for the staff. I wish I could name everyone individual. Nurse Jenn saved my life. Sicker than I have ever been, she went above and beyond and I felt like my mother was taking care of me. They truly care. If I could give 10 stars for her keeping me there and getting me through at the worst part I would. Thank you a million times over.

One of the BEST detox's I've ever been to. Most comfortable. Nice place to start the road to recovery.

I was just in Sunrise detox treatment for opiates. I spend 10 days there don't get me wrong the first 4-5 days were some of the hardest days of my life to get through, but I was able to get through it with the most wonderful staff they have there. Gina is a powerful group leader only because she's been through it and has years of sobriety. She definitely gets you in your feelings and makes you realize your not the only one and anyone can do this, you just want to want it. I'm 37 years old and I've been dealing with my inner problems/demons for on and off for 10 years now and im glad I was able to get the help from Sunrise to start my new life. I not only did this for myself but for my family and my wife and kids. So if there is anyone out there that I can tell give Sunrise a chance it will definitely be worth it, the food was very good as well. This place is very laid back and they make sure your comfortable at all times. I honestly felt like I was staying at a hotel with just nurses and techs there to help me. Tech (Matt) is cool as hell. Most of the people that work there have been through some type of addiction so they know what its like. I honestly didn't want to leave lol but my time was up and I knew the next door for my recovery and sobriety was opening and it was time to get back to reality/life and my wife and kids/family. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Sunrise (Toms River location) for all the help and possibly saving my life, I love you all for it. I plan on being able to return to Sunrise to tell my story one day and hopefully help or save lives. Thank you all again.

I have to admit, I was very anxious being that it was my first time entering any type of detox or recovery. From the moment of intake up until the very end of to discharge the entire staff from techs, counselors, nurses and even the chef made my experience as comfortable as possible. I've been abusing benzos and opiates as well as suboxone for 12 years now and anyone who knows about suboxone, its the very worst withdrawals. The nurses and APN were very understanding and helpful for as comfortable of Detox as possible. I attended every group, gaining some very good insight on how to deal with addiction and also learned about NA and out patient counseling. Food was excellent and I met some people that I will never forget. All the techs were great big shout out to Joe, Klarissa(I got your back always) Gina my Italian Princess and of course Kevin and Dave. Catherine RN made me feel so at ease that I was in the right place and set me up for success and I thank you so much, Im horrible with names but I think Danielle was the other nurse that touched my heart although they were all amazing!!!! As well as all the counselors Taylor, Gina Jilly and Jessica. Only cons, there are obviously young kids that go that have no intention of getting better, sneaking drugs in and having sex and hooking up. Also im not a smoker and the only outside time is on a fenced in patio where EVERYONE smokes. And the patio furniture is burn hole city. Also I understand we all have our own issues but stricter rules or rules should be strictly enforced.
