UConn Health in Canton

NOTE: My rating is for the Family Medicine division located within the same building, not Urgent Care (read full review)I am a current patient that sees a primary provider at this location. Very happy with the kind and professional treatment I have received from all of the staff in Family Medicine. I am so grateful for their efforts to make each visit as comfortable and painless as possible. Phone calls and messages answered in a timely manner. Provider takes time to listen, ask and answer questions, or provide referrals. She genuinely cares for the well-being of her patients and it shows.However, on the two occasions that I have called after hours, I was connected to an on-call doctor working in Urgent Care. Both experiences were negative and unprofessional in a variety of ways and I can definitely relate to the feedback of others users. Would give Urgent Care facility a lower rating based upon personal experience.

I have used the Canton walk-in on two occasions, and have been pleased with the the entire staff. They were professional and knowledgeable. I would recommended this facility!

Made an appointment for same day on the website. Quick and efficient diagnosis of simple dermatitis. Called when I arrived per the signage. I was asked a few COVID-19 screening questions, then somebody met me at the door and walked me directly to the exam room! I had checked in online prior to my visit. With my PCP being at UCHC, they had my medical records up in no time.Highly recommended!

The staff are always beyond caring and the drs are fantastic.I have gone many times for my mother and my son and myself and have always had the star go above and beyond for us.Until we figured out the issue and took care of it my mom had been there 8 times for the same problem and the dr remembered us and worked really hard to get her the help she needed and we ,thanks to them took care of it and it’s not returned.Highly recommend them.

I have been to urgent care twice in the last year and both experiences were great. First time was when we first moved to the area and didn't have a pediatrician yet. My 2-year-old had a bad ear infection. Everyone was super nice and we only waited about 5 minutesSecond visit was just a few days ago. I felt like I was going to pass out at the wheel. They rushed me in right away and did an EKG, which showed an abnormality so the doctor called for an ambulance and had me and my son taken to Farmington. It's a good thing she did! My hemoglobin and iron were extremely low and I could have easily passed out behind the wheel, which was her concern.I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

Saw my son right away and everyone was extremely polite and professional.

Everyone was very friendly! Doctor was quick and was very knowledgeable! Would definitely go again if my doctor’s office is closed!

Came In on a Sunday Afternoon, Choosing This Provider as I See Other UCONN Doctors and wanted to Simplify the process..Despite Some Reviews, I Honestly Had a Good Experience and Saw Dr. Doyon. I Was Seen and Diagnosed Promptly and Diagnosis was also Confirmed Promptly. Thank You to ALL The Staff that Promptly Addressed My Issue and Concerns.Would Definitely Recommend & Return Thanx.

5/5, everyone was very welcoming and helpful even during this time of covid! Kendra was fantastic and even followed up with numerous calls to check in to make sure everything was going the way it should be! Would definitely recommend this facility/ doctor. Thanks so much!
