The social workers at Rex Rehab are such professionals. Some of the best people we have ever worked with.

We had a great experience at Rex Rehab. We would highly recommend it to anyone needing inpatient rehab. My 91-year-old dad was there for 2.5 weeks March 2025 recovering from a fall and broken bones in his legs. All the therapists were excellent. In particular, I’d like to recognize “D. Scott” - one of dad’s physical therapists - and Katie - one of dad’s occupational therapists. They were exceptional. Also, the nursing staff was superb, especially Linda, Geriatric NP, and Mary Sherron, a nurse manager who oversees the wonderful nurses at Rex Rehab. Finally, the food was delicious! Kudos to the kitchen staff for serving lots of different, delicious meals every day.

My mom was recently discharged from Rex Rehab Raleigh and we were extremely happy with the care she was provided. She regularly commented about how nice the staff were and we found them to be extremely responsive. One example of their follow through was when I discussed something with the PT one afternoon and when I spoke with the NP the next morning and asked about it the NP said that the PT had already checked with her and approved the change. Mom enjoyed the food and we found there to be a good variety of items to choose from.

I fell in January 2023 and broke my hip & shoulder. I had hip replacement and then was sent to Rex Rehab in Raleigh. I stayed for 1 month. When I first got there I was very upset and the staff was very understanding and helped me through ( Miss Jackie & Phillip ) my stay was amazing after that .. All the staff was very helpful and professional.. love the therapist they were very supportive ( I hope Katie’s knee surgery went well) I would name them but it’s way to many to name.. The food was not that great but would definitely recommend it.. Some people are giving them a bad review but just remember they have a lot more patients than YOU .. You don’t know what they are dealing with so be KIND ..

I received EXCELLENT rehabilitation service and care following my hip replacement surgery and again, after my knee replacement surgery! I LOVE the people there❣️❣️❣️ Btw, the Physical & Occupational Therapists are very knowledgeable & “upbeat” to help in your recovery & downright FUN to be with. While I love being home, I almost cried when I was being discharged❣️ Thank Y’all❣️

I got rushed to the er two weeks ago and everyone was so amazing! Dr trottman and dr Gregg absolutely outstanding!! I still can’t talk about all the nurses and cna’s without getting choked up cause they all saved my life in so many ways! The most selfless people I’ve ever met I was on the third floor for a week and they should be praised daily!! I seriously can’t say enough amazing things about all the people that took care of me! The ladies that brought me my food and I had the most amazing lady that cleaned my room daily! There was also a gentlemen that transported me for a cat scan (I was really out of it) but I remember he was so kind! Thank you third floor I will be forever grateful for all you have done for me in my time of need!! I have so much love for all of you 💜💜💜

We've had a good experience so far since we got here. Our 4 month old daughter had cranial surgery. Dr. Elton took care of her. He is an amazing doctor. He answers your questions and doesn't leave you wondering like other doctors sometimes do. After her surgery, she was put in ICU. All the nurses there are nice but I have to point out a specific nurse. Dylan is a clinical nurse 2 in the ICU, he works the night shift. He is constantly checking up on us, asks if we need anything, and makes sure our daughter is comfortable. There aren't a lot of nurses who will perform their job duty like he does. I am definitely impressed with his job performance. After leaving ICU to a regular room on the 5th floor the next day, Rachel and Kylie took care of us. They were very nice and also made sure we were comfortable. We do not live in this area but I wouldn't mind having to drive here when I have too. They really take good care of your needs. The only thing I was bothered by at first was the message on the answering machine when I called the Pediatric Children's Hospital. It sounds rude saying if you keep calling it will take longer for us to call you back. Some mothers really need to talk to someone and are really worried about their child, not all situations are the same. Instead they can state please only call once we will get back to you before the end of the day on tomorrow's opening hours.
