I come here voluntarily for psychological counseling and psychiatric medication monitoring. The clientele are a mixture of court ordered and voluntary.
I love this place. After almost two years of not being able to get any help regarding my PTSD, depression and anxiety, I finally was referred to Valley Cities. I had tried Sound Mental Health in the past, as well as Seamar. Both left such a negative impression I never thought I was going to get help. Then came Valley Cities.
I love the staff here - they are respectful, courteous and kind. Their specialists and physicians are great and do their best to help you in any way they can. I have never felt judged walking into this facility by staff or clients.
If you're looking to get help for psychological issues or chemical dependency issues, I highly recommend it. They have individual sessions, group sessions, etc... It may take some time being set up with the correct person/counselor/psychiatrist, but that's par for the course for us Medicaid recipients. Try Valley Cities first! They also have locations in Renton, Auburn, and a few other cities/suburbs.
