List of Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care's Reviews
I had been calling and my daughter to get her refills and her Psiquiatrist has not refilled her medications. She has called valley cities a thousand times , i had called because she needs her medications and left messages and they had done nothing. If its an emergency why not give her refill? When she coordinated to get a tele health phone call and the psiquiatrist knowing that she has a crisis changed her evalutuon for january, leaving her without any medications , NO ONE CARES, THEY DO NOT CARE AND NO ONE HELPS. NOT EVEN CRISIS LINE IS AVAILABLE!
No no no.. I was involved here due to now an ex friend who recommended (one reason why we are friends) idea and when I got in the groups they are all cliques.. all favorites get taking care of by the group leaders and if you are not friends with the leader you are treated like dirt...
I think Kent valley cities isn't the best program around. I DO notice a big change in behavior when illegal drugs are involved. Not only does the patient's care go downhill ..me, as a parent provider have noticed that it seems I am fighting an uphill battle with myself being singled out as a problem...like mabe she gets her bad habits from mua. I've also been lied too..looked up as to MY background.. and while I'm being treated like a bad apple, the patient,my daughter is treated like an angel. The team including her main counselor has tried to goes me into sending her to live elsewhere. This based on nothingness... I have nothing against me in athe legal system. I am disgusted with them. My daughter is gravely I'll as well. I havspent the last 8 months jumping through hoops. Meanwhile, my daughter is getting sicker. I'm to a point I'll switch her. There isn't much to choose from in the area.e
Do not use this facility specifically "Kent" they are not interested in actually helping people in crisis! They lied about circumstances to release our "gravelly ill" loved one against their medical advice & being detained by DCR his court date was the following day! There was many other options for them to use but refused! Our loved one is now lost out on the streets again! Shame on them
The worst experience ever! I’m not new to dealing with facilities or what’s suppose to happen and not! What’s isn’t suppose to happen is them to lie to you about your loved one who against their medical advice release him! Lied about the hospital making an error in the transfer verses discharge..he was transferred and was to be detained until court! The next day! Made all kinds of excuses claiming he was detained illegally they knew for 4 days how long his detainment was proper thing to do was get an extension for 72 hours to get him to court! We are talking about a gravelly disabled young man.. They not only lied but didn’t reveal they had tried to send him back to the hospital. They obviously do not know the proper way to do things! Putting your loved ones in danger. Formal complaint has been filed with the hospital they will not be sending anyone here. Just for reference our loved one is not violent and always pretty calm & polite.
I’m about ready to file a lawsuit against this clinic if they let my husband run out of his medications one more time.
AWFUL!
Do your well being a favor... do not go tre. They are not the only facility for those who are being detained. Stick up for yourself, advocate advocate advocate
It is free to go here with the state insurance and you get what you pay for. Run the other way if you can afford anywhere else. I do not recommend this place. Awful staff who don’t know what they are doing. I have two daughters who tried to make this work, since they do not have insurance. They tried this place and it is a joke. The psychiatrist RN’s clearly are not well trained. One was down right rude and condescending and the last type of person to see with mental illness. There are some of the staff who try to help but they are the exception. So sad for people who are helping the most vulnerable population to be so bad at doing so. 😔
Horrible staff. Non informative and has no care for the patients. No supervisor on site and the nurses won't build a discharge safety plan

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
