List of The Center For Cancer & Blood Disorders's Reviews
If you have a blood disorder stay clear of this place. They are extremely disorganized and simply do no care about patients. It seems like they just care about maximizing profits by packing as many people into the office at once as they can and then have patients wait hours to come in for simple blood draw. Person who draws blood will not give you so much as a hello. They don’t follow-up or call you back so if you do make the poor decision to trust them with your care, make sure you call them every day. They are definitely on top of your co-pays and billing though, so you don’t have to worry about that.
I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the current no-visitor policy that has been NEWLY enforced at your cancer clinic. As the caregiver and advocate for my mother, who is undergoing weekly cancer treatments, I find this policy not only unnecessary, but inhumane. Cancer drastically alters a person’s quality of life. For patients like my mother—who must already endure physical and emotional exhaustion, constant appointments, and the fear that comes with a life-threatening diagnosis—being forced to attend treatments alone adds to their burden. The isolation is cruel. This policy is especially distressing given the fact that many cancer patients are immunocompromised and must already live in isolation outside the clinic. Denying them the comfort and support of even one family member during treatment adds another level of suffering—one that could and should be prevented. In addition, many patients—especially those who are fatigued, overwhelmed, or experiencing side effects—may not have the strength to advocate for themselves or retain all the information shared during their visits. A single support person can be instrumental in helping them understand and navigate their care plan, ask questions, and feel emotionally supported. I urge you to immediately reconsider and revise this policy to allow at least one designated support person to accompany patients to their appointments. This change would be a humane and reasonable adjustment that reflects empathy, compassion, and respect for the dignity of those enduring the fight of their lives. If you, or any of the “Board” members who agreed on this policy took one step in a cancer patients shoes, you would NOT have agreed to enforce this. Instead NOBODY advocated on behalf of this patient population.
I felt cared for and listened to by all of the staff and doctors. I highly recommend The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders for anyone that is diagnosed with a terrible disease. The staff is amazing!
I would not recommend them they are in need of learning the meaning of the word compassion. This place is sad the way they take care of patients that have trusted them with their health care.Dr.Mohammad Qasim had his staff put me in a treatment room and wait a hour and half later I learned he wasn’t even in the building and then I learned the infusion medicine I have been getting every 3 weeks wasn’t even ordered in time for me to receive my treatment today. Whithout this medication I am in serious pain and can barely move or function. They didn’t have the decency to called me to explain a delay in medication arrival. So I had to leave in pain without treatment and now dealing with finding a new infusion center. Thanks for the common curiosity of explaining. I had to ask for the office manager to find this much out. What happened to the do no harm and wanting help people and try to heal people. Thanks for reading this and may God Bless you and this clinic
I was referred to The Center on Magnolia to see Dr. Vasques in February. I was labeled as “urgent” and it took 2 weeks of calling to get a call back. Once I finally got a call back, I was told “we will not speak to you until you get insurance.” (My husband got laid off and we lost insurance) Which I understood and got what they had recommended me to get. Then for weeks I would get 1 response a week that was little to no help. I finally got to talk with the patient coordinator. She was very hateful and not helpful at all. I kept asking what the next step was and she told me “that’s on the patient to figure out.” What that woman didn’t know, I know someone that works there and they heard the whole conversation and how she spoke to me and about me afterwards. I gave up trying to get in to The Center (even though the Doctor was highly recommended) and found somewhere else that not only got me in within a week, treated me like a human. My cancer may have only been stage 1, but it is no reason to treat someone so poorly. I’m sure Dr. Vasques is amazing but, she really needs to look into the staff that is hired.
They are genuinely concerned for one's health and achieving a successful outcome.
A wonderful Dr and his team is amazing!
Dr. Brownlee is the very best if you need cancer treatment. His staff are second to none. He is a very good listener and is very helpful if you need information regarding treatment.
Dr. Brownlee and all of his staff were very caring and careful with all of my moms needs and appointments. We had the fastest most comfortable experience it was as if we were working with our friends. The radiations were painless and the recovery time went well
Dr Jasti is a great oncologist. I have been a patient for several years and I am doing well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
